Also, I really like the Alligator adlibs/background vocals that you can hear at some places! And Shownu appearing at 1:44 is pure genius and so well done!!! My favourite mashup tradition tbh :')) haha when I was listening to Dejavu first, I was thinking how can I ever mix it with monsta x because it's such a ballad in the verses, but I guess I had to cut out some parts of Alligator like Jooheon's/I.M's main verses but I'm glad it worked in the end with the acapellas! :D And I'm so happy you noticed the video too!! You are so cool, JEM! and those video transitions are perfect. alligator is so powerful and it must a lot of pressure for you to mix it with deja vu which is more subtle. It's not perfect, but it's good! Thank you for this blessed remix! (This is somehow like Monsta x asked Dreamcatcher to go into their embrace as they're attracted to them, but Dreamcatcher feels like this is a deja vu that'll just end badly. Monsta x convinces them so much that Dreamcatcher falls for them deeply. But Dreamcatcher realised how aggressive Monsta x, that maybe at some point they lose Monsta X (in a battle or war? this is because of the alarm in the end) and it became a huge regret as Dreamcatcher is unprepared. Maybe the cycle repeats again and it will be an endless deja vu for Dreamcatcher, that they resolved to protect Monsta X until the last breath and Monsta X finally got the full support they needed. Seriously, I'll be honest with you. I've watched so many mashups done from all sorts of different people with all sorts of different music. I listen to all kinds of music and I'm a very open person so I like maybe about 90% of different genres of music. All of this information is just so you can get the idea that I've been through a lot of music 😅 but anyways that's not the point. What you did here is just plain art. This is a talent I've never seen before and here I thought I hated mashups, because for the longest time I haven't been able to find even decent ones. You not only mashup songs, you take risks that could either be good or bad. For you I think those risks always work out and you just have a natural instinct for it. This beautiful video is inspiring me to write a Wattpad story like a fantasy world with these two groups like DC is the Elite Angels of Heaven while MX are the Devilish Spawn of Hell. MX causes trouble on humans life like making them do bad things that they desire to do but DC always have to clean up their mess and they always hate each other. However, something happens and both forces can't help it but to rely on each other to get through it. Idk guys maybe this could be a book I'll be making but I'll keep you updated if it does happen 😉
