I really love this card, it`s very festive !!! I am always amazed at how some colors work together. Every year my family goes to watch a Truck Parade. The parade consist of Log Trucks, Flatbeds, and Trollies, all covered in Christmas Lights !!! Thank you Sandy
I wouldn't want to miss a thing that you color! I love this fantastacal car with the impossibly huge tree! The background just adds to the whimsy of this card. I'm glad you made the lights all different colors! Awesome card!
I love the background--which is what your focus of teaching is in this series.... BUT! I so love the look of the tree-laden VW Bug. Gorgeous. Thanks for all the tips that can be used on any card I wish to do. So many blessings to you.
You are and have been one of my very favorite RUclips artists to watch. Your talent and your ability to keep it interesting (no dead space!), are always top-notch. Thank you for doing what you do!
I appreciate that you share the reasoning behind your decisions during the coloring process. You are the queen of details! Thanks Sandy. Looking forward to more.
I had a bright yellow VW bug back in the 70's that looked much like this one. Loved that little car. Your coloring of the tree and lights is wonderful and the background is fantastic. Love how the moon and stars just glow! TFS
Oh my stars! I love this card! It is so unique!!! Can not wait, I repeat, can not wait until I have Christmas money to take some of your classes! You are such a wonderful sister in Christ and always love your messages!!!
Sandy your cards are always dramatic...I love the contrast you get in your cards.. you're bold and not afraid of color. It's an adventure watching you work. Love when you get wild and really start to just go for it. I think you're brave when it comes to color and your cards benefit from it. They are always vibrant and full of contrast...Love them...thank you
I also didn't see my comment. Posted it twice. But that was after I posted my comment here on RUclips. Don't know if that make any difference. (I'm blonde, 40 + years old and chronically fatigued. So please have patience with me 😅)
I know this video is not current for 2019 but I used to drive a 1972 Orange superbeetle! I know this one is yellow but my mom drove a white one! Anyhow I sure do appreciate the tips and color theory comments you have in this video. And I think you can just not see the driver behind all the branches! I put a tree in my car one year, not a good idea for pine needles! I kept finding dry needles for years afterwards... so I put it on the roof every yr after (after the first year of shoving it inside!) Great bug card!
I love to watch you color because you are so amazing at bit. This car is so, so cute & l really like how you finished off the wheels. Nice touch.🤗✍🏻🌈🤗❤️
I can explain the driver is on the other side of the tree and the lights are plugged into the cigarette lighter with an adapter of course love this card the image reminds me of something out of a Dr. Seuss book.
Sandy, this card is so funny! Love the whole image, and I loved watching you color it and bring it to life. The streakiness in the sky kind of reminds me of Van Gogh's "Starry Night" painting. Thanks for sharing this! :)
I just love all of your cards. I hope that the recipients of those cards take care of them like they should be since they are a small piece of art. they are just beautiful.
Gorgeous card! I really appreciate you sharing your thinking behind what to back light, where you add light glow, and when you stray from "reality" for your card creations. TFS Hugs Kristina
i really like all your videos! i don't have copic markers because of the price but Spectrum Noir. i learn something new in each your videos. thank you so much for sharing this with the World!
O.K. Sandy You had me laughing so hard I couldn't breath lol lol. But I loved it and I really needed it I have now discovered that this one, this one, is my favorite card, besides all the rest of them ; ) ; )! Tell you the truth, Yellow was one of the colors that I've had a hard time liking my whole life, cuz my grandmother use to tell me that I must love yellow because only sour kids love yellow. Don't know why she told me that? She lived till she was 105 years old too. But Sandy anyways BACK TO THIS AWESOME, AMAZING, ADORABLE CARD! "YOU GOT ME TO FALL IN LOVE WITH YELLOW" THANK YOU! It's a very beautiful cheerful color : )
Sandy, I truly love watching your Copic coloring techniques. I myself do not own any markers, but would really like to start. Is this the type of project where "practice makes perfect", Or by trial and error. How many markers should you begin with to have a healthy set. Any answer would be appreciated.
Amazing. Once again, when you start out, I never know how it's going to look. But I am NEVER disappointed. I love how you make backgrounds and i am trying some of them on my own. Thanks for the inspiration.
Oh Sandy... “I don’t know how anyone can drive this car because it’s full of tree” you silly sausage - the tree is on the passenger side, we can’t see the driver because they are on the other side of the car! 😉 Gorgeous card as always - I love the glow!
could you use liquid frisket on those little lights/details and protect them from being colored by other markers? never tried it, but i'm curious..off to try ;-)

On my site under "need help" there's a chart with a rainbow full of combinations. Pick a few that suit things you color and try those groups.
Amazing. Once again, when you start out, I never know how it's going to look. But I am NEVER disappointed. I love how you make backgrounds and i am trying some of them on my own. Thanks for the inspiration.

A lot of work for this card, but it turned out beautifully.
