Oh wow Sandy, that water came out fantastic. I would have never guessed that it was going to actually look like the ice is cracked around the water. I get wowed every time I watch your videos.
Sandy! Sandy! Sandy! I LOOOVE watching you colour. When you added the darker colour to the edge of the snow I wondered why and then....magic....it made the edge rising up out of the water. You always make it look so easy but I've tried it, it isn't. Thank you for the continued inspiration!
I love all the little tips you give us as you color! like coloring around the ears and making the sky look right...your colors are simple and clean, and joy of joys "you matched the envelope"! Wonderfully made, Sandy.
I just got this set last week. I love these guys. Thanks for this video. It really helped me to see how to make the water, ice and sky. Really helpful and I'm going to try it. Thanks, again.
Love it - love the fuzzy fur. You seem to bring back so many childhood memories for me when you color. When you did the fur instantly I remembered my mother repeating a poem: "Fuzzy Wuzzy Wuz a Bear, Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair. Fuzzy Wuzzy wusn't fuzzy wuz he" They didn't have Copics then LOL
I just got these stamps yeah! And I ordered them just because of this video! Usually I draw my images myself but these stamps got to me -LOL. Thanks Sandy, I love all your videos ! xoxo Josi
I've watched this video multiple times on every device I own. LOL!! So, I thought I would say that I just love this stamp and the technique you used for the pond. I learn so much each time I see your videos. Thank you for sharing your technique.
Hi Sandy and Thank you so much for sharing this video with us, I have my Polar Bears on the way to me now, they are so cute I just had to buy them and now you just put this video up so a BIG THANK YOU!!! Love your video's and so envious of your beautiful colouring. I am still at kinder colouring level but I am enjoying it so that's the main things. Looking forward to more of your Awesome video's Have a great weekend, Colleen
This is my favorite card of 2016 Sandy....and those are words from the heart! This is also my favorite stamp set of 2016. Truly a gorgeous card and whoever receives it will be one lucky recipient!!! To top it off you even finished the inside as well as the envelope...a true masterpiece Sandy! Had a blast watching you create this...thanks so much!
👍🏼 I am so happy I found your video. As a newbie with coloring you are teaching me how to hold the markers ( a left hand person ) also I am buying my Copic markers when I can afford to buy a few markers. TFS
Super cute card Sandy and as usual, its a "pinner"! I definitely need some more Copic markers as I don't have a great variety of colours yet but I have been practicing with what I have. You are an amazing teacher! Thank you for that!
Oh, I wish I could click Love (as opposed to Like) because this is my favorite video/card you've made, Sandy. I think the bears are really cute & fun, but it's your coloring that brings them to life. Loooove it! ❤️💚❤️ 😊
oh, to be so talented! I'm finally getting good with water color pencils, I think I am ready for Copic markers. your tips and techniques make it look easy, I'm sure it's a lot harder than it looks . Thank you for talking thru your process, love your designes!
Hey Sandy, I just had to watch this again as I think is a wonderful teaching tutorial for how to achieve different textures with Copics, about shading and castoff light (sorry if I'm not using the correct terms), and about mottling, which I have a quick question about. What causes the mottling - is it from over-saturating the paper and can you fix it if you don't want the texture it gives? I can tell you that once time permits, I am going to try to recreate this card not just because I love it so much, but because I think I will learn a lot from the process. Thank you so much Sandy, not only for this card but for everything you share and teach us!
Question ,if I'm taking the card class copic class ,will it benefit me to take your copic theroy class . Thank you . I think you are a great teacher I'm excited .
so on your mid-tone what determines if you're going to use a cool a neutral or a warm gray (because I'm just getting ready to order my copics) obviously with all the snow and icy water I would assume a cool but I'm sure a neutral would work as well?
How long have you been a artist, like was this something you fell in love with as a child? I'm just starting out and need to determine how long I have to live to get half as good lol
Oh wow Sandy, that water came out fantastic. I would have never guessed that it was going to actually look like the ice is cracked around the water. I get wowed every time I watch your videos.

+Nancy Lynn not sure what causes it.
Very cute!
You've got a 'bear' behind haha 😊
Question ,if I'm taking the card class copic class ,will it benefit me to take your copic theroy class . Thank you . I think you are a great teacher I'm excited .
Yes the Jumpstart class has lots more info in it 😋

+madison's magikal cools are probably better than neutral.
God you're good xxx
You are SO clever :0)
How long have you been a artist, like was this something you fell in love with as a child? I'm just starting out and need to determine how long I have to live to get half as good lol
Oh and I'm 44, so a late bloomer
Oh and I love your Seahawk scarves haha
+Laura J Zizzo yes, I have an art degree.
Sandy Allnock your art is very stress relieving for me. Watching you create just is very inspiring and relaxing.
What colors did YOU use? for the ice???? :)
After this many years, I have no idea…
if i cant buy the stamps its of no value
+crosspecans sorry if others bought them up before you :(
Since this was a one layer card, I'm curious as to how much of a bleed through from the copic markers appear on the backside of each panel?
+Charlene Runge plenty. I glued it to a card base.
