    At no point during the bag workout does he lose form or technique. His arms don’t sag, punches don’t soften, no breaks, no gasping for air. He’s as sharp the last minute as he was the first. Always sharp.

    Nobody ever gave Roger credit for being able to remember such long combo strings during mitts. These are long complicated strings of punching and movement, only true fighters and trainers can keep track of combos and movements this long. RIP

      Well he was a 2 division world champion as a fighter, and helps that Floyd is his nephew so he knows his tendencies and they have a natural connection which makes communication easier. Having a long history memorizing combos, plus knowing the fighter you're training since a baby really helps.

    Idgaf what you say, no one EVER is training as hard and at the pace Floyd did. No breaks, just constant work. He had the best trainer in Roger, yet still corrected him on the mits. They made a great team and the trainers knew they had to be just as on point when training a guy like Floyd. Just so fascinating to watch. He was literally born to box.

    • @RafaelCDet
      @RafaelCDet 10 лет назад +10

      Mayweather's mittwork doesn't work accuracy or skills, they are all about conditioning and defense. It's all about throwing little love taps for 15 minutes while training shoulder defense.

    I've worked out on traditional heavy bags ruclips.net/user/postUgkxp9-sf95nqfjey-uyzxUzQ7m9MXRPK1BE a spherical stuffed "wrecking ball" bag, and now this thing. What I like about it is that it has the heft to stay largely in place so I'm not chasing it around. It's tall enough to allow for headshots and body shots, but it's short enough to give an uppercut somewhere to land. I'm very happy so far. Filling it was a bit of a cluster. For top-offs, I've learned that you can screw the supplied nozzle onto any basic plastic water bottle. I can't speak to durability as I've only had it a week.

    Man, I wish I could of had a coach who would just dust me down with the pads and turn me into a legend LOL. I guess it's a muscle memory technique but I would love to hear Floyd explain it as with his right hand especially there is times it doesn't move and Uncle Roger is hitting the pads off his gloves. To the RUclips haters, especially the Karens and Millinieals, I'm saying this because even though I have 32 years of combat training I can't work it out. Other world champ boxers don't understand it either. Im posting this to learn and not have negative comments from little Internet bitches.

    *Question* Can somebody please tell me why his distance to the bag or pads always seems a little bit too close? He never uses his full reach. In a straight punch, like a jab there is not half as much power when you don't stretch the arm. So why does he always do that. Because he Does stretch the arms in an actual fight, so why not during training?
