That Kia Forte is a Nice Vehicle to go in the city from point A to Point B. It doesn't have many sensors and security stuff that other luxury cars do have, which is Ok, for the price. Not impresive, but nice looking to move around in the city. Engine power seems to be enough to be driven in Ecuador (Southamerica) where altitude sometimes is a problem for some vehicles. I like it actually. Greetings from Ecuador!!!

Drove the pre-facelifted version in Jeju two years ago. The car that stole my left hand drive virgin. Miss that driving experience a lot! Been drivin it up to the mountain and around Jeju with good handling. Hope Kia has plan to bring in more models to Malaysia.

I'm using kia Sportage GT line..still in very good engine performance..BUT...BUT.... I'm very, very disappointed with the service part of KIA servis, too slow to get the exchange parts.. has been in for 3 months still nothing results from kia, even though I called 3 times to ask and kia gave an unpleasant reason..due to sensor damage all alerts is show out at meter sreen.
Normally guys, I am NOT a Kia fan. In fact, back in the 90s and early 2000s, I used to cringe at people driving the old Kias. I"m more of a BMW, Mazda, Toyota, & Honda kinda guy. I also, told my family and friends that "You'd NEVER catch me owning a KIA! EVER!! Eww!" However, years have passed and I noticed that the newer Kias were looking better and better, but didn't think much of it. My old Honda accord, reach over 250K, and was breaking down a lot. I was looking around for a good car, for a good price. My friend from college, who's a car dealer, asked me what I was looking for in a car. I told him 3 things really, "Nice Comfort, good fuel economy, and great reliability". He used to be a dealer at Honda but moved to Kia. At first I'm like, "Bruh. Really?" But he genuinely loved his new job and said its better. So I was like okay, I'll check out what you have then. Anyways, I went with him to his job, and saw this black 2020 Kia Forte EX. He told me to just test drive it, and feel it out first. When I looked at the exterior, the interior, and drove it, I actually surprisingly really REALLy liked it a lot! The interior looks WAAAY better than before, and I loved the wireless charging, apple CarPlay, android auto, heated and cooled seats. Plus the driving, felt really nice, and for the price, it was a steal, since it just got off of someone else's lease. When I brought the car back to the dealership, and met up with my friend, I stepped out of the car, and said, "I loved this Kia Forte!". I couldn't believe it myself that I said that. Never thought that sentence would ever come out of my mouth, but Kia, I have to tip my hat to them. They are really stepping up their game. Btw, about the Forte that I drove, I ended up buying it, and I'm very satisfied with my purchase :)! Plus the warranty, you can't beat it! I kinda should've waited to get THIS 2022 Forte. Looks sick! But I'll stick with my 2020 version for now. No complaints here! 😁

Should I wait for the 2022 or purchase the 2021 since the incentives right now are excellent? Other than the larger screen , digital dash, front and rear lighting and facelift it’s still the exact same frame and interior isn’t it?

I bought my sorento new six years ago, and it is probably the best car I've ever owned, absolutely bulletproof. Definitely buying another kia and this forte could be my daily driver. Cvt looks Impressive.

I LOVE this new model Forte. I got my Forte used about a month ago! It’s perfect for me as my commute is 1 hour every day to and from work. It’s a 2020 base model forte. It’s small but very fun to drive and very quick! Super easy on fuel as well. Good review! I just subscribed!

I drove a Forte when it was called the Spectra... can't recall the year. That car seemed to hug the road the faster I drove and was very stable. The gas mileage was terrific. Now in the market for a second vehicle and this could be the one. Hi from CA 😎

9.9 is very good for a 1.6 NA engine! Here in Australia we have 2.0 NA, but I don't think it's even completely nessercery considering how will this 1.6 goes. Love my 2019 Kia Cerato GT.

Thank you for review! KIA&Hyundai sells in Russia more cars than the others foreign car makers and it is very intresting to watch about new models on your channel. Autohold brake and seat ventillation is especially cool features for the car of segment "C". Am in central FL USA, and for me, 2022 Kia Forte/K3, is the leader in this class ... Redesign of exterior & interior look great ! Hyundai Elantra looks good, but Kia Forte/K3 looks better, IMO ... Great review, thank you. I test drove this car yesterday here in Mexico where it comes with the 2.0L MPi engine (147HP) and IVT. I was thinking about getting the GT with the 1.6 turbo but I was so impressed with this model that after the test drive I ordered the GT Line Hatchback. The car was much quicker than I expected, handles great with tight steering, equipment level and build quality is excellent. Kia has a plant here in Mexico but for some reason the hatchbacks are not made there so I have to wait a month or two to get one shipped from Korea. Can't wait to get behind the wheel again!

I'm a Toyota loyalist, but this might be my next car. The 2022 Forte GT with the 1.6 turbo is enticing. The 10.3 screen is major plus as well. We should be getting the 2022 this month in the US.

The front design is just great with the new leds. The alloy wheel design is too sober but it's not bad, would prefer a sporty one. The fake exhaust is an error, should have been well designed since the new design since 12 years now. the interior is nice

My brother just picked up a new Elantra Limited a couple days ago. This is his 3rd Elantra and I have to say I was extremely impressed with this car. Very roomy and plenty quick for normal driving. The cabin looks way better than my more expensive car. Nice job on the new Forte, but the Elantra looks way better

I just bought the '21, GT with 6 speed manual transmission. It's an exhilarating car and very fun to drive...love the exhaust note, love the IRS, super-stiff cornering. But I decided (or maybe realized) that the car was kinda ugly....especially in the front. This new '22 design looks VERY NICE!

What's your opinion on turn signals low down on the bumper? I personally find it makes it impossible to see the turn signals when you're driving at a certain angle, I wish they didn't do that. Especially for a small sedan !

I special ordered a 2022 GT-LIne in "Sporty Blue", but I also very much like that Gravity Gray color. The salesman said I had several weeks before the color had to be set in stone. Can't decide if I should go with the "pretty" bright blue or get the more sophisticated graphite gray color.

Cerato GT with turbo 150kw engine is great value. Sells in Australia for about $33,000.

When I got mine it was 31,990. It has gone up a fair bit to about 33,990 iirc (car prices are generally going up recently). The new model will increase by $600-1200 depending on how the change the range. I hope they keep it the exact same just with digital gauge cluster added to GT and Sport+.

Kia makes nice looking cars, shame they don't place much attention on their chassis and suspension set ups. They should dump the torsion beam set up for the multi link or wishbone set up.

KIA K3 in Vietnam uses 1.6MPI 6 gear AT, not CVT like in Korea

Excellent review! Its truly a great looking car all around, way better than the Elantra. Only complaint is the rear tail signals could have been LEDs instead of halogens, which really look old school and cheap. KIA…. Please change them to LEDs.

The new Kia logo looks like the the letters K and I in the Cyrillic alphabet. The Kia Forte presented in this video it’s not available in the US with its anemic 123 HP engine - thank God! However, I do like the refresh style for the 2022 model year but it’s not a brand new generation like the Elantra, and therefore it can’t really compare with the more advanced Elantra. I wish that the Kia Forte 5 GT would be available in the US - I like the hatchback for its added practicality plus it differentiate itself from the Elantra.

New logo is a big step forward. Wonder why they did not go to the new platform to match the Elantra (which I just bought). I suspect maybe they will content the Kia better .. more LEDs etc. Probably here they will put the same motor as mine 2.0 naturally aspired. I have not touched the gear over=ride; I would need some training to do it as well as you. The new look of the K3 will help it I think.

The australian versions dont have the digital speedometer or the multilink rear axle suspension sadly. Only torsion beam and analogue speedometer/dash
Ah, yes we have torsion beam for the regular one, but hope you guys get the digital screens soon in Australia.
I just had a massive accident, car is still drivable and was going to get the forte 2021 but have decided to wait. Question for you.
Will the US version have the digital dash or will it be switched out for the normal dash? that dash with spedo etc is beautful.
Also do we have an estimnated release in USA?
I am hoping my car can hold out for a month or two
