    You’re so lucky down under, we in North America have yet to see this truck, no mention of it on the Ford website or if it is even replacing the current Ranger, which is still selling new as a 2023 model. We will only get the 4cyl I suspect. The “supply chain” story about delays is getting old, they seemed to have no issue building your truck. Great color.

    Some have had a good experiance while others have had a terrible one such as myself with, arb fitment issues from factory, Tailshaft vibration, screen edge lighting bleed and a host of service issues.
    Currently 3 weeks deep on this occasion with less than 2800km on the clock.
    Expected better for over 80K

    I noticed your temp gauge was over half way, even 2/3. Is that normal? I was surprised when my new wildtrak was running at half temp on a cool day. My old petrol cars always ran well under half...

    hi, is there an option to have the front camera displayed for a short time, as we come out of reverse. this can be especially handy as you are trying to park the car and move in and out of reverse.. and also as we drive away

    Serious question, I’ve just ordered a V6 Wildtrack, but now I’m incredibly concerned given the online stories to include A current affair, highlighting issues to include the vibration in the tail shaft, I’m on a 12mth back order, but I’m seriously thinking about pulling the order, has ford fixed the problems?

    • @jameswilson4712
      @jameswilson4712 Год назад +1

      It’s a known issue, Ford are addressing that if you bring them in, it’s not a huge problem to resolve

    • @alphabravo3304

      @@jameswilson4712 cheers, I think I’ll cancel the order then, I don’t want to spend $80 grand on something brand new complete with built in problems. I’m after confidence in the purchase, not a vehicle that is an overpriced hunk of junk.

      @@alphabravo3304 You haven’t ordered an overpriced hunk of junk. I’ve had mine for a month tomorrow and I love it. No concerns whatsoever. It’s been my daily since I picked it up and if it was an overpriced hunk of junk it wouldn’t be, because to be honest I have other cars and I’d have no issue getting rid of it. But after having it for a month and literally driving it every single day for a month it isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

    • @ned1869

      No ford have not fixed the problem's and are leaning towards washing hands additionaly of any aftermarket accessories. Sensor recalibration falls over all the time for them and they seem too be working on that along with all the other electrical gremlins however the driveline vibration even with replacements is still an issue on stock suspension. I have had mine replaced already and they gave it back worse than when it went in and took for me to make the head forman come for a drive at which time he said immediatly it was trash and needed to be fixed. I had to wait for ford australia in melbourn to send someone up to inspect it and approve a 3rd party tailshaft specialist company to fix it (still ongoing). apparently the factory tolerances are still too out of spec and for some reason only is affecting the v6 ranger in domanance. I have had a couple of 2 liter without issues as a loan car.

    If the bi turbo was just as powerful and capable the V6 wouldn’t exist, what a strange comment

    • @hedydd2
      @hedydd2 Год назад

      Some people just want a six cylinder engine and it gives Ford a unique sales feature. Personally since the bi-turbo four has more power and far more torque in a more refined and economical package than the previous 3.2, I’d certainly choose the four cylinder diesel. The V6 has had a long and less than stellar reliability record, although they just might have sorted that by now. They didn’t sell it for long in the F150 and I can guess why.
