Did you actually listen to the apology? Brendan literally individually went through everything false that he said about Ariel and admitted he was completely wrong. He said the Brock Lesnar thing and Ariel being fired from ESPN were false narratives. Said he respects Ariel and shouldn’t have spread lies.
Not sure why it’s not an apology just because he didn’t say the words “I’m sorry” directly.

26:00 If you struggle with anxiety or social anxiety I think you should listen to this part. Wow, looks like I now have an emotional connection to Ariel. I had the same problem during college. I would be so afraid I couldn't leave my room. That was a few years ago and I still struggle with social anxiety, to be honest. I'm not close to out of the woods. But Ariel gives me hope.
I have almost the exact same story. I went to college and somehow existed with crippling anxiety. I got help in my Senior year and I’m so happy I did.

Loved that talk about mental health from Ariel, think we forget or at least I do that even people in the peoples eye (Ariel, fighters etc) all have their struggles and there’s always good and bad days no matter who you are. Love when we can get more environments that show others it’s alright to feel like that and talk about it openly! 👊

His 20 minute "apology" was filled with stealth low blows...The kind where someone sneaks in that theyre taking the high road and never stoops to the level of haters, (implying Ariel's low and a hater but without saying... or "I have never watched Ariel's show cause its not my kind of thing..Im not knocking it, its just not my style", when clearly he watches all the mma podcasts right before he shoots his. He went on and on with so many rude comments but peppered em up with how he's the nice guy in this scenario...and has no idea how easy it is to see right through him. He started from the bottom making his own website in the mid-2000s to interview fighters before MMA had 'exploded'.
He has worked for major networks like FOX and ESPN.
He pissed off the president of the biggest MMA promotion in the world, who now goes out of his way to stop Ariel from working e.g. Showtime Mayweather/McGregor.
Dana goes out of his way to make a deal with Noah's absent father to stop Dominant MMA fighters going on his show (unless they are promoting a fight).
Dana is good friends with the former President of the United States, so you know he has some sway.
And despite all these obstacles, he's still here doing his thing. He's standing up for himself. Fair play to him.

@@hugotopping You're dumb. He said that of 6 people (LT, BC, DC, Bisping, Sonnen and Ariel), 4 of them painted the narrative. Obviously, Ariel didn't. DC and Bisping love Ariel, so they didn't. LT probably did (at the time, of course), Sonnen is a 50:50 and I don't know about BC, so who are the 4? Brendan threw those guys under the bus.
He also said that Ariel started going at his guys and that is why he argued back. Lie again. They started going at Ariel before Ariel said anything about them, and Brendan had already gone after Ariel before his guys started going at Ariel, so that was another lie.
He also tried to create a false equivalence, where he said that he had said some lies, and Ariel had said some lies. Sorry, when did Ariel lie? He told the truth about Brendan. He never played a single NFL game (I had to check that online because I was under the impression that he had). His comedy got a 1.7 - true again. He cannot sell out his shows - true again. Ariel never lied.
Anyway, can't remember the rest, great apology, never heard it.
Ariel, I was always a long time casual fan of yours, but the more I listen to you and the more I learn about you, the more love and respect I have for you. I too, have suffered from debilitating anxiety. It would appear that you didn't let the anxiety hold you back, but used it as a motivator to propel you forward. To take something negative like that, and turn it into something positive takes a lot of strength and it says a lot about your character. Sincerely

Is Ariel leaving out the small detial that he was a de facto UFC employee at the time? literally in tears, cried out an apology to everyone for keeping that a secret. He was going around acting like he was any other independent journalist, when he was basically a UFC employee, or at the minimum had a clear conflict of interest that he didn't disclose...so odd that he leaves that part out of this whole situation...
