Thanks for sharing this with us Mary ❤ I am very sure this is a really great product, and understand that the R&D that went into it and the resulting ingredient deck resulted in a high price tag. But to be totally honest, as much as I'm dying to try it, I just can't afford spending close to $200 on one product....makes me sad that it's not within reach as this is exactly what I've been looking for 😭
You're so right Jill. I love this product and I can see it works but the price tag is high. I've not been able to find affordable products that yield the same results. Hopefully that will change!

I bought this serum. I have been using it for about 4 weeks. I am 56 years old. I also use Tret 0.1%. I am amazed by the results, nothing has ever given me results so quickly, except Tret of course. Thank you very much. I use them under Tret in the evening, only once a day.

Hi Mary. Very interesting product and excellent review. One of the biggest changes I noticed is that your eyelid hood seems to have completely lifted. Did you use this product on your eyelid at all? Ty!

Love your videos, Mary. This looks like a great serum and I can see the results on your photos. I don't have any other vices except skin care ... but it's a little too rich for my budget. I have enjoyed Cerave, Cetaphil, Neutrogena, and Naturium products that are a little more affordable. Maybe I'll have a surprise Christmas present under my tree this year with Allies of Skin! LOL
So far I am LOVING Naturium. They make really good products that are super affordable. Wish more brands would!
Hey Mary, I love your channel, I’ve started watching every single episode - I am 45 years old but have been using growth factors religiously for the last three years every night and there is a whole selection of products out there -the best place to find them are more medical skincare orientated sites and the best one of the lot is skin beautiful RX. (In my opinion) the osmosis MD stemfactor is fantastic ( it’s also excellent as a whole line) skin medica TNS is obviously the gold standard but it is extremely expensive…… I have actually found a few growth factor products on Korean sites at a fraction of the cost. The jury is out as to whether they are as affective, but no harm in trying…….right? 😅❤🎉

Yes, I'm familiar with skin beautiful and I've heard great things about Osmosis though I've yet to try it. Which Korean growth factors are you using? I'd be interested in giving a try!

Oh wow! Seems everyone wants to know about Korean growth factor products, well here goes-I found a company called Swanicoco who do an EGF and a FGF serums. They feel wonderful- very very thin much like you expect growth factors to feel (ie nothing extra) so you put them on as a first step once you’ve done your cleansing and toning, and then pile the rest of your skincare on top. Haruharu does a ‘botanical 2gf ampule’ which feels lovely on the skin but there are a lot of critics of plant based growth factors who say that our skin is unlikely to benefit from non-animal origin growth factor products. And there are a few others: Bonajour, Brian Cosmos, DM.Cell and Sunki are some -all do Egf or stem cell based products but I have yet to try them -mainly because YesStyle offers these, but you need to wait up to a month before they’re even in stock so I’d imagine you order these and see your products a couple of months later……! But they are all a fraction of the price you expect to pay for similar products in the west, so I will be trying them eventually……watch this space………😁👍🏻💖
@@SkinObsessedMary Mary, I could never be sick of your voice. I find your videos are really interesting and engaging. Yes Osmosis is fantastic-they have a retinaldehyde serum -well they have several that go up in strength - I chose the strongest because I’ve been using tretinoin. The ‘Renew’ serum is out of this world. It just feels and looks so good on the skin -I have never used a retinaldehyde product quite like it. But it ain’t cheap…… And I’m not sure if you’re aware, but SkinbeautifulRx owner Leah her own excellent RUclips channel on which she discusses all of their products, and it’s where I have learned the most about medical grade skincare……

Been eyeing the Skin Actives growth factor serum. $200 for skin care serum that might last you a few months, then have to repurchase is too expensive for me, but i'm sure it's a nice serum.

I use their peptide moisturizer and I love it, but I buy it only when is on sale… they are some other good gf serums from good brands and all are so expensive so I’m sure is the actually a good formula but darn, it’s too much 😊

Of course!!! Stratia Liquid gold is sooo moisturizing, you really feel the lipids and goodies hugging youe skin for extended periods of time. Also, the velvet cleansing milk is like a cloud !!! No stripping of the skin at all! Hope this helps! I really love both products! 💕 😊
This sounds really interesting... I wish Allies would do a mini of this for testing purposes, especially since it is so expensive, and especially for us folks with super sensitive.
I've tested quite a bunch of Allies products and I am so disappointed I didn't really like any of them (I like many PSA products however), maybe the retinoid night cream but why did they have to put lavender oil in it...
I haven't actually tried a lot of the PSA products. Any particular ones you'd recommend?
I love this product too! So will you stop using this in order to use Augustine Bader Rich Cream that needs to be used ALONE? I would like to order Bader BUT don't want to give up my Skin Medica TNS Recover Serum.
Absolutely not! I don't ever use Bader alone. I tried it a long time ago but it's just not enough for me (and my love of a long routine). I only use this as moisturising step and still layer hydrators and antiaging serums (either peptides, growth factors or both).
Can you use this with vitamin c and retinal ..is there anything that i shouldnt use with it x

Absolutely, I use both. I start with this first (after mist/essence) and then load up after. In the AM, I usually add hydrating serum + moisturiser + Biossance Vitamin C Rose oil on top OR Allies of Skin Vitamin 20% C (which us super hydrating) and moisturiser on top. SPF to follow
PM I do Peptide serum, hydrating/antioxidant serum and moisturiser. I follow up with tretinoin a few hours later. That's just the way my skin likes to use Tret. I'm sure you can use together straight away, if that's your routine

I agree. I'd like to know if it was this product being stopped, or if she attributes it to the new product she was testing.
No, that's not my point at all. I stopped this to use an anti-aging device and the use of that, reversed all the success I had with the Allies serum.
Using a new antiaging device made my wrinkles far worse. So all the progress I made with this serum was reversed and I've had to start again.

I wanted so much for this to work, just pumped the last amount of product tonight, noticed absolutely no change what so ever…very disappointing
That's a huge disappointment. But I will say....I was mostly through my second bottle before I saw the results. Using morning and night for 30 days just wasn't enough.
I am 57 years old. I have used 5 bottles of this serum so far. I use it before Tretinoin, of course only in the evening. Oh, if only it weren't so expensive. Every time I run out, I panic. I noticed the biggest difference under my eyes and on my upper eyelid. I have droopy and slightly wrinkled eyelids, and this serum means that my Hourglass concealer, which sets quite hard, does not dry out the skin under my eyes. This serum and Tret are the biggest noticeable results so far on my already old skin.
Do you use this with the allies retinal and peptides serum? Or do you alternate them?
For the sake of this review, I stopped my tretinoin, but once that was over, I used my tretinoin in addition, every night.
Any chance you could tell is which device made your wrinkles worse? It wasn't a Ziip device, was it?

I haven't used the balm but I like to use the Backuchiol after my tretinoin because it's a loooovely oil and keeps skin hydrated and happy.
I've used the 35% Vit C in the past and LOVE it. But you can't get it in Europe - US only. I would otherwise. It's very light, watery texture.
But I do use the 20% which has a totally different feel on the skin.....it goes on quite heavy and then sinks in like an oil (which my skin adores). So when I use that, I can skip a hydrating serum in the AM. I hope that helps!

Absolutely! I use it all over. But if you want to spread out the usage, you an just apply to problem areas such as the eyes.

They usually have great sales! They do buy one get one free a couple of times a year. This is just a new product so it's not being offered at a discount yet. I use a few of their products and they are worth the price. Their retinal is INCREDIBLE.
