    I loved this tutorial! Sometimes people make these tutorials more complicated than they need to be. This was just right! 😊

      Exactly🥰, I jumped with joy as I came across this tutorial.. She started by saying exactly the cake size, 8inch cake cut into 3 equal parts.. she made the tutorial so simple and easy to follow👏👏👏👏.

    Thank you for this! I had never worked with fondant or molds before, but gave it a go using your tutorial. I created a Coach Purse cake instead, for my cousin's birthday. It turned out great. I'd share a pic of it but I don't think I can do that in the comments. Thanks again!

    Here is a link for a chain mold. Just roll fondant over the mold, cut off any excess with an exacto knife and pull back to release the fondant! Make sure to put some cornstarch in the mold before putting the fondant on so it won't stick! I'll try to post a video for the chain mold soon!

    • @cakelynsfinest2542
      @cakelynsfinest2542  4 года назад

      Thank you! Yes you can use a ruler to mark the lines. Just make sure not not to press the ruler on the fondant. :)

      The 2lb bucket of Satin Ice should be enough. Maybe a little bit more just in case.

    can you tell me the ratio of black gel fod coloring to lemon extract is it 50/50?

    • @cakelynsfinest2542
      @cakelynsfinest2542  6 лет назад +1

      Hi! I use a ratio of 70/30 usually. You don't want it too thin that it is streaky. :) Hope that helps!
