I grew up in PG right by the line of southern Avenue by Hillcrest Heights community center/Oxon Run Park and back when I was growing up because I lived so close to Dc and had family living in SE I used hear all types of stories about Barry Farms to the point I never wanted to go there Lol 😂but when I finally did right after graduating High school that summer I went to the basketball games and for sure Barry Farms was a whole world within itself it’s crazy how you said that because I always thought that it crazy how much money they got to do the reconstruction and I knew then that it wasn’t for our people but for the white people especially with the National’s basketball field being right there.
