    Would applying Linseed oil to the handle be advisable? I live in a very dry climate and thinking about how to maintain the sodden portions long term

      After talking to Ryan, he said that it wouldn't hurt the strap cutter if you choose to.

    Do you ever strop your new blade before installing them. I have had some that really didn't cut smoothly until I stropped them first.
