Great video Rich👊🏼👊🏼
Good install video!
Pretty cool
Thanks Rich! Ordered 2 today and they already shipped!
Scott, Thank You for the support!
Okay cool there getting better on the pricing of these 👍 5280 Larry i give alot of thank to for seeing being these center burners was ridiculous when they first came out and 5280 Larry came in with much better prices. He helped out a great deal . Lol and now here's a universal setup, WOW !!! and coming soon in a change of color ? But also in a knockout price ? Wow how cool man 👍
I figured everyone would like this one:)
Yes I'm about to get on a order for afew of these a.s.a.p ... OH THIS IS ME "FIREBLAID" I'm sure you may recall some years back I would pop in every so often on the live hook-ups you was doing , Dave's RC , farmer man's live , and a few others I would pop in and see you and many more popping in also from time to time , but yes its me "fireblaid" (that same fireblaid) from back than 😂
Rich:
Where about is the mixing board located in this jet? 🤯 Cant find anything anywhere about it. (Reason being, i wanna use a 10ch reciever & setup EVERYTHING my way. Seperate canards is a must!) Unless i can remove the canard servo lead & set it up separately.
ANY knowledge is greatly appreciated!
It’s right in the back of the battery bay-you have to remove the battery tray floor and there is an additional piece of ply that is attached to the back of it-on top of that piece of ply is the mixing box-Once you access it you can actually deactivate the pointless Crow feature and also change how the lights operate if you want-or you can simply completely remove it and wire it up as you wish. Page 9 of the manual shows you the actual mixing box (NOT THE REFLEX UNIT) which you will find right at the back where I told you to look. Just be aware the canards are not independent on this aircraft like they are on the Freewing Gripen with one servo each. Thanks for the question and keep us posted how you get on :)
A coat of silver paint in the exhaust duct would make the center burner even brighter ?
Yes, I usually use white to brighten it up!
@@RCINFORMER Nice one !
So cool I love the little details like this
Rich what if I have no free channels on my RX? does it then just get plugged into a Y harness and then share the throttle channel? then surely that means I cant calibrate it to my liking as the throttle calibration will get messed up? cheers
Yes, just use a "Y" harness... you can calibrate. The instructions say to unplug the 3 motor wires to do it, so you dont risk launching you plane off the table. However, it can be done quickly Without removing the motor wires. I just do it very quickly before it enters the program mode, then it doesn't affect your existing programming.
It's actually not intended for a free channel, it's actually intended to be "Y" harnessed to the throttle channel... I just happened to have an open channel that I can mix and it makes it a lot easier and there's also one less connection for your throttle... I always like to run as few wires as I can, it just reduces the amount of connections you have in the system. Most LED afterburner systems do use a "Y" harness though:)
does it work with the elite viper 90mm bnf , since it has an avian esc?
It does, but it takes the option of using reverse thrust away, unless you plug it into a seperate channel in your receiver and mixing that with your throttle channel
Nice! Ordered one for my Freewing 70mm F-16
Thanks for supporting the channel!
Hi Rich, I used an RCgeek afterburner on my 8S Wemotec setup and I didn't need to cut any foam at all in the bifurcation. Greetings from Belgium
Yes, his are short. They are also much more expensive, possibly a bit heavier. Also, it's size specific, where this will fit almost any motor.
shame you don't ship outside the US.
Where are you located?

@@M4rkmcc21 We are working on getting them over to your area of the world:)
Hi bought 3 not having any luck calibrating REd Led always on..Have it coneccted to my throttle with y cable help any thoughts Thanks
What is it doing?
Sitting at idle flickering won't get brighter when throttle increased
Thx for your quick response
@@robertnet4150 which airplane?
Freewing F16 70mm
Y. Cable to the throttle
An afterburner that never totally shuts off? You won’t be winning any scale competition with this one!
It depends on what you like. I'm not into scale competitions, I just like to see the light more. When it comes on at half throttle, you only get to see the light for an instant when it whizzes by at Mach speeds... With this burner, you will get to see the light more even at slow speeds. This burner is all about ease of installation, inexpensive, light weight, better motor cooling, easy programming & simplicity:)
Richardo!
