Yesterday I was targeted by homophobes who threw sticks and mud at me and my best friend bcz we look gay (I’m bi) and I can’t get mud out of the back of my eye. They also shouted homophobic slurs at us and chased us home on bikes. It could have been worse but they live on my street and could do worse next time I see them.
If anyone has dealt with anything like this or worse then I am here for u

I HAVE A HOMOPHOBIC KAREN STORY!!!
So I’m a girl (teen) and I have a pretty alternative style “-“ my friend asked me if I wanted to go to the park w her cuz she was taking her little sister and meeting her boyfriend and a couple other people from our school. I agreed and when I got there we all just started hanging out and talking. I was wearing black ripped jeans, black combat boot, a black t shirt with Feitan (HunterxHunter) on it, a bunch of chains and a spiked choker. One of my old friends who I haven’t seen in a while comes up to me and is like “why are you emo??? Are you a lesbian?” He was joking as he is not homophobic and I rolled my eyes and said no and we started laughing. At this point the group of teen that were at the park were all in a circle watching over the park and talking. We looked over and saw a lady with her phone out who looked like she was filming. We all thought nothing of it and just continued talking. The lady came over and said “excuse me” in a bossy voice and basically shoved past one of my friends!! I gave her a weird stare cuz I was not sure what we did and she just gave me a weird look back. Once we THOUGHT she was out of earshot, we started asking each other what we did and she interrupted and said “it’s not what you did it’s what you SAID!!!” And she started going on a long rant about how we had to be respectful when adults and little kids were around and we were super confused for the first part of her lecture 0-0 until she started talking about how saying the word “lesbian” was super offensive and we were like “ohhhhh she’s homophobic..... she thinks we’re gonna turn the kids gay” so she continued her rant and ended by whipping out her phone and showing a video she took of us and threatening to post it so everyone could see. She ended by calling us dumbasses and then left. After that she sat in her car and WATCHED US the whole time😒 WE DIDNT DO ANYTHING we were just watching the kids and playing with them and talking and chilling. We weren’t cursing or anything we were just hanging out. It really bothers me that she did that because one of the two year olds there who is become attached to asked me why the lady was yelling at us and I couldn’t find I good way to explain to her.....
