My first experience with TDoMT was also very lucky. I got XP, a follower, a keep, and a rival/assassin. I was the only one who got anything good in our group
My first experience with a DoMT was when my evil, greedy ex-pirate character decided to draw 3. First card was balance, switching them to neutral good, 2nd was the knight which provided a lvl 4 squire for my character matching alignment. The 3rd card provided 2 uses of the wish spell. One of my party mates went before me and said they'd draw 2 cards. Their first was the void.
I drew 1 card and got the fool. My int was 8 and dropped to 3. My character became immune to spells that only target those with 4 int and higher after that it was chill. I also had a radiant absorbtion tattoo and was a bronze dragon born with 21 ac so i was an insane tank with heals as a life domain cleric.
My last session on one of my campaign, a player pulled 7 cards, in the middle of a dungeon, as we watch horrified him getting only good ones or minor bad ones, it was really special lmao
My first experience was in a one shot where my character died after having his soul ripped out of him or something on those lines. Anyways he is still alive now, made a deal with the devil and a bit of destroying a contract made him come back to his mortal body.
my first experience with it was my in-character boyfriend drawing a card in an attempt to save the party, immediately drawing the void and causing an entire arc of the campaign
❤ im glad fate surprised her. Mine pulled the reaper card at the height of a popular festival where i had befriended most of the npcs to friendly.😅 needless to say it was a utter massacre and the city quietly bricked off the city square where everybody perma died to dread wraiths for trying to help me
Unliely ever , its a fexlife charity project not made by the dnd studio the last one of those never had any advitisibg and took 2-3 years ro even get on dnd behond and the rest of the projects never made it
"The whisms of fate were kind to my character, they gave them gold, weapon, and then sent an assassin after them. What a nice deity."
Or a trial to overcome using the new tools at their disposal and give them experience.

That’s absolutely insane

Oh God, the oath bow still gives me nightmares when I hear it's name
Any time I encounter the deck. I draw all of them and let chaos reign.

I can't wait for the physical deck coming out soon. Gonna use it in the one-shot I'm building. :)
My first time using the deck I got was Sun, Star and Skull
My first encounter had me saving a party member from the spector of death... after I had to save myself from one...😮😅😊
I just got that same shirt! Paula’s Pixels is the best shop. ❤️
So when y’all going to advertise the Chains of Asmodeus Book?
Like you stealth drop this masterpiece and just kept it quiet…why?

See a similar thing happened to me, but my DM was merciful and let me identify the thing before I drew 😅
My character managed to make a hag draw a card and she drew the gem card. Dang it
Makenzie is always such a delight to listen to!
What does the rogue card do?
Plague doctors 🎉
I once draw 9 cards and oll of them where gems😂
Explain plz
Kinda contradictory that youbothdidn't know what yhe deck was but were also expecting it to wreck you.
You can just see how much… more superficial the game is now compared to listening to the old folks speak. …
