You left a stub!?! HA Ha ha! You left in the shot to show you can make mistakes and take criticism. You the man! Oh, you left the stub for your flip line. See what happens when one rushes to judgment!?! Loved the video. Stay safe.
I just really started climbing don’t have the tools yu have but I get the job done wit regular Blake’s hitch but watching your videos really have help me out a lot I think yu should keep educating people about tree work
Dude... that throw at 9:26 was so clean!! Also a Great vid overall, you’re officially one of the best in my books and I’ve worked with many highly skilled arborists. Fluid execution and clean cuts like you’re blindfolded, well done!
Nice clean removal. I appreciate your patience and for those just beginning: this tree may be small but that's no excuse to not use the tools that make the job safer like Joe does. Lots to go wrong here with the tree next to the road, house nearby, power lines etc... He takes his time, looks for traffic BEFORE he sends, keeps pieces small and uses gear that's well over-rated for the loads. Proper tree work is not dramatic or unnecessarily dynamic. Good work.
Enjoyed the video. I used to be in mountain Search And Rescue and worked as assistant to the rock climbing rescuers. I was impressed with their knowledge of knots and gear, but I now believe you tree guys know more than they did. Anyway, I kept waiting for a ghost to show up in the upper window of that haunted-looking house!
Neat! Think of the history that house and tree have seen. Both there since that road was just a muddy path with an occasional horse or model t cruising by.
I'm curious how much a boom/bucket truck eliminates the need for a climber? I know theres certain things only a climber can do but is that a rare occasion where a bucket truck wont get the job done?
Looks like the groundsman didn't feel like working today. None of the dropped pieces were being cut up and stacked in piles. By the time my climber gets down i have everything chopped up/piled up and we ready for what ever is next.
I was waiting for a squirrel to come out of the tree.If you rub a limb up and down the bark on the tree before they hear or see you, sometimes they will come out of their nests or stick their heads out of holes in the tree, thinking another squirrel is climbing up their tree. Probably a few bats living in the hollows with a lot of good for the garden bat guano in the trunk...I couldn't help laughing when you were pawing in the trunk 10:15 and then adjusting your face shield :)
I know you didn't ask me, but I like the spring blocks from ISC. You have to be a little more careful with a block than with rings, but a block can also be used as part of a mechanical advantage pulling system.
All kinds of fundamentals shown. Planning, keeping things simple, choosing the last stem so it can drop straight down, safe technique the whole way.
I rock the same spike setup. They are a bit heavier, but beyond comfortable! Merry Christmas and STAY SAFE

I know right! We got to explore the property a bit. Was really cool!
Awesome video as usual 👌 like the use of the sling for rigging makes it nice and quick
Nice job stay safe

Nice work Joe. You might consider putting safety cones along the road edge in the future though.
Hey Greg, awesome rope flip to your climber!

lots of healthy reaction wood...
yep

I think it was a no clean up.
Yacan Son of Israel it was a no clean up🤣 he’s pardoned this time!
@@joebisping6799 oh ok.😁😁
Stay safe.
And get a Stihl.😂😂😂
@@joebisping6799 I nearly always prefer to have a chipper on a job. I hate coming down and landing in big pile if brash! 🙄

hahaha They say its good for your facial pores! Ill try the squirrel trick!
How does the 525 compare to a 540? I have been hoping they would make a 545 top handle.
super nice job Joe. I have that same climb line, blue moon by yale. I really like it. wish i was using it more at the moment. stay safe bro!
Thanks Jacob!
forgot to ask you, are those the husqvarna
Technical Hi-Viz Chainsaw Pant?
Kenny Sanchez yessir!
Is the husqvarna t435 better than stihl 201. Need to replace my 201 soon and was thinking of going with the 435. Love a response thanks
Pressure I have not used the 201 so I couldn’t give you an honest answer unfortunately.
Maybe I missed it, but were you using a foot ascender with the gaffs, Joe?
Jolkrae Remeark not on the removal.
@@joebisping6799 on the way up, Joe?
Jolkrae Remeark nope just spiked.
I have the same top handle saw. Did yours wanna stall all the time when you first got it too?
Not that I can remember.
Good video, what gaffs did you use for this job, tree gaffs or pole gaffs? Thanks and safe climbing!!!
Tree! Thanks
Nice. Watching your videos makes me want to climb on my days off. Do those Hardy gloves hold up any better than the blue Atlas gloves?
They were pretty good. Only down side is the rubber starts to peels off instead of wear off.
Did you use a mix of both false crotch and natural crotch rigging?
Jake Gilly yeah I think I probably did in this video
Joe Bisping since the tree was hollow did you tie into anything else for safety?
Great video! my next investment is a set of rings or a medium sized pulley..whats a good choice when starting out?
I know you didn't ask me, but I like the spring blocks from ISC. You have to be a little more careful with a block than with rings, but a block can also be used as part of a mechanical advantage pulling system.
I really like the cmi small arborist block. Its super compact light and strong!
another exceptional video Joe really enjoying your work , and editing ! my # is 10168AT
Thank you!
Is it your only top handle husqvarna ?
I only use Husqvarna
