Boy surprised by the negative nancies here in this videos comments. Your hike and at 2-4 miles an hour you are definately getting the views in my opinion. This from experience. Not on at but on the nct
Nct in Michigan.
He most certainly saw more than anyone who hasn’t ever done the trail or hiked any of the AT at all! He did it at least and in the time he had available. I think it’s awesome he got to do!
how can you say any part of the AT is pointless? what for is the point if not the emersion into all parts of nature?
There's a term on the AT that thru hikers use called P.U.D.S. It stands for pointless ups and downs. I didn't mean that the climb was for nothing, but it was a long climb and I was hoping for an awesome view because it was sooooo nice out.
30 miles+ a day you aren't seeing views anyway are you? just wondering. to each their own hike. keep on trekking
I get to enjoy a lot more than you may think. I have only done a few 30 days, most are between 20-25
