What Is The Next Soulsborne Game?

- With the release of Elden Ring DLC coming soon and how quiet Fromsoftware has been about their next project, i thought i would dive into the mystery of what their next Soulsborne game will be like. Using all the notable information I've noticed over the course of my time enjoying the series I've explained my theories and predictions on what the direction could look like and speak about the path they paved for themselves thus far.

There’s no shot he put a malenia thirst trap in the thumbnail lmaoooo
do you even praise the sun?
Their are 4 other bosses in the thumbnail. Your virgin ass just decided to point out the naked one
bruh i didn't even notice that at first lol
Clicked immediately
Nah because I thought it was going to follow the consistency of having the cover art armor on so I expected Vyke or Vagram but nah enhanced Malenia
Id like to see an egyptian themed game. The scenery, mythology, character designs and different fighting styles have so much potential.
If we ever see a game with religious Egyptian themes, I just hope it’s not the Romanized version and they do their research
meh
@@africankakarotto8402I mean they have such an insane level of detail with their imitation of various cultures, like Elden ring is their most varied game in that manner with Egyptian, Greek, roman, German, Japanese, Alchemical imagery, etc. they nailed the different eras and culture in the game in their imitation of previous things and they did sekiro, so I could see them doing an Egyptian game
true and theres not alot of games that play in that setting
Idk but I’d sell my soul for a Bloodborne 2
Me too 💯
Never happening man
Man, I really hope they do it, but it feels like they won't. I really don't like that... But man...
Bloodborne is owned by Sony so.....
amen
Bosses, healthbars and 3rd person camera aren't what make sekiro a soulsborne. It has the same bonfire mechanics, estus flask, same npc quest system, same fog walls, prism stones, item description based storytelling, hub bonfire, firekeeper and blacksmith. These are off the top of my head but theres probs more elements.
Evasion mechanics, parrying
Even boss design.
Malenia is basically a reskin of Isshin. Both are slow walkers on the first phase and are runners on the second phase.
Radahn also carries the spirit of Demon of Hatred. A behemoth who you need to dance in front of him to see his attacks coming. Otherwise, while you may get away with going inside the boss, some attacks may catch you off guard duo to lack of visibility.
But talks of spirit aside. The buff system is very similar. With Yashuriko’s being the equivalent of Red Tearstone. And in general buffing your character being the same. In Bloodborne you pop a Beast-pill and a weapon fire/electric buff. On Sekiro a Sugar of your choice and a spirit sword/prosthetic buff like the fire blade.
Even niche gameplay mechanics apply. Like using a throwable to manipulate AI.
In Sekiro the shuriken. In ER throwing knifes to bait Malenia’s Waterfall for an easy dodge, etc, etc.
This was my first fromsoft game
Missing the point
Basically dark souls in japan
Also, I REALLY want rewarding tail cuts to return. It’s a nice way to reward good playing, by giving a unique weapon and reducing the move set.
Just not in the way how it works in fight with Kalameet and Seath, where cutting tail is 500 times harder than beating entire game without leveling.
@@suchar7175 I believe tail attacks should still be devastating, so getting the cut requires skill. I do agree that the rng for this two cuts was way over tuned.
Kid the two ones he mentioned are stupid to attain, not about being good, its just annoying, period point blank boykid @jonathancastillo6433
I'm 95% sure tail cuts were supposed to return for Dark Souls 3, at least for one boss, but were ultimately cut like so many other things were during its development. If you clip the camera into Midir's tail, you can see the geometry for the stump that would show when the tail is cut off. There's no reason to model that detail unless the tail was meant to be removable, so to me that seems like an obvious tell that the feature did exist at some point in the game's development (unless you actually can cut it off but no one's been able to do it, but I kind of doubt that tbh).
But yeah, that or a similar feature would be cool to see make a return.
Personally i don't want tail cuts to return , i want limb dismemberment to be a core mechanic ( and it could include some tsil cuts ) , i think it will be more interesting snd be a good evolution of their current focus on stance breaks
It's world man. Exploring the worlds is what does it for me. Not the boss fights, not the wonderful, peerless combat and perfectly balanced combat, it's the worlds.
Bro said perfectly balanced 💀
@@mhead1117
I would say Sekiro and Bloodborne are perfectly balanced. Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, and Elden Ring are definitely not balanced though.
This is why Dark Souls 1 is the best of them all to me.
Edit: and because of no fast travel.
@@davidnewhart2533 Sekiro? Mortal Blade, Jizo Statues, Umbrellas and Firecrackers. Bloodborne? Don't get me started on fire paper.
I want a pirate soulsborne from fromsoft so badly.
Now that is an interesting proposition... Yo ho ho feel my cutlass you land scrubber...😊
sekiro and bloodborne type parrying with swords or guns.
That'd be sick, some other cool stuff would be a Norse-inspired game, Slavic-inspired game and maybe a Native American-inspired game. I wouldn't want them to be 1:1 to the real mythology but something like Sekiro which takes themes, beliefs and aesthetics of Asian mythology would be cool
Pirates are gay
the amount of mythos and tales fromsoft has at their disposal i cant imagine what masterpieces they could make
No, don't do that, don't give me Bloodborne Hope 🥺
If they go new IP I just want the setting to be science fiction anything else is up to them. If we're going sequels I'm happy with either Sekiro or BloodBorne 2.
Fromsoft's "in a world gone to shit" pseudo genre of games, could more than likely produce a epic SciFi installment.
THIS.
I want a Fromsoftware Sci-Fi Souls-like so bad, dude!
@ShinRock54 The planet closer administration from AC6 was an idea that I thought could totally be fleshed out.
Absolutely agree I think they could do a great job in sci fi. There isn’t anything exactly like a fromsoft title in the sci fi genre. Mass Effect is great but very narrative / story driven. Would be really interesting to see fromsoft’s more hands off approach to story telling plus the amazing combat mechanics. Lot of potential to fight crazy alien bosses on a brutal and unforgiving planet.
I always thought of a Post Apocalyptic Cyberpunk game. There's a lot you can do with that as far as enemy design, level design, character builds and lore
Dark Souls 2 did a real good job at pointing out the whole hollowing thing. I dont think any other souls game did something like this that well.
How so?
I agree. Each death eating away max health solidified “hollowing”.
@@qing7902 you lose your max hp every time you die
@@mosscowbosscow isn’t that just taken from demon souls?
@@qing7902demons souls you immediately lose half your health and its not hollowing its just a soul form. Dark souls 2 it is slower and you can visibly see the character hollowing
Even though it's stylistically similar to Souls, I'd love a new Kingsfield game
A King's Field recreation would be great for sure, which comes with its own challenges. I would love it if they gave the project to Hamatani, the man (reportedly) behind Sekiro's combat.
Kingsfield 1994. 3D game with boss fights, they were damn early lol
I want a remaster or remake of this.
Yeah we need more Kingfield-likes
You are wild for that Malenia in the thumbnail and you know it LMAO
I found the review tasteful, self-aware, and informing. Thanks for a high-quality video!
I hope we can see only more of what Miyazaki has to offer. I'm hyped!
Sekiro 2 (or Tomoe prequel), Bloodborne 2 (which might mean Bloodborne would get a PC port), a Berserk game, a King’s Field remake, a heavily rumored magic game, whatever. Just be good, we’ll play it.
Berserk game like the PS2 one keeping all the good things from it. Or a King's Field full on reboot or sequel.
Why would they spend money in a Berserk license when they can just simply make inspired enemies, weapons and characters from Berserk??? FOR FREE.
@@hermitcard4494exactly what im saying
Sekiro 2 plzzz
@@hermitcard4494because finally having an adaptation of berserk which is true to form and complete is any berserk fans dream
Despite Spellbound being dismissed, I actually do want them to make a heavy Caster focused souls game. If anything just to see FromSoft actually make an effort to improve Caster gameplay rather continuing the tradition of Copy/Paste job (with minor tweaks) of the terrible DS3 Caster system.
Making an effort to treat Catalysts (Seals/Staves) as actual weapons rather than an ignored backup tool would be a great change of pace.
While Elden Ring did spells well, basically everything else involved with Caster builds was either barebones or a disappointment.
Basically at its core, the same spellcasting since Demon Souls, with barely any changes, copied to Dark Souls and Elden Rings. No creativity.
Yeah, like Spell Tools having their own different stats(Power, Cast Speed, Spell Speed, Following, Effect Intensity, Effect Duration, Charge, etc) that can affect spells, and Spell Tools being compatible with certain Spells. Each having a dedicated fixed main attack spell, fixed secondary attack spell, fixed magic defense/guard/evasion/cure/recovery/decoy, and selected spell(from equipped ones).
Certain Spells being able to combo for increased effects or advantages.
Or a Gun Souls, similar to Remnant from Ashes or Evil West, with dedicated stats for the player and guns. Or maybe a sci fi shooter game. Or a survival.
I feel like some spells being aimed attacks, more akin to a 3rd person shooter could work well. I think this could also apply to bows or other ranged builds too.
@@TheBrick534 like 3rd P shooter? Too mundane, at that point its just "magical guns". Why not controlling the direction and curves or effects spells can do. Like cast a fireball, hold the "control" button, move left stick(making the character stand still) to the right to curve trajectory to the right, then quickly move to left to make a sharp curve to the left. This could be dont in other direction and even up and down. This combined with target track. And other ways of spell control.
Honestly, I would ADORE a return to King's Field. Dont care what anybody else thinks, but man I have alot of fond memories with that game. I got lost for HOURS in that world and really didnt wanna return to the "real world" in the slightest. From Soft has a very special place in my heart and will until my last breath!
I want a remake or remaster of that ñ.
Yes! Didn't think I needed it until I read this. Yes. So many ways they could make it better.
I am so stoked to see @SquillaKilla making these types of videos; someone who we all know, truly understands Fromsoft giving their *insight*, opinions and analysis is something I would bank on to help the channel.. At least i would keep coming back to 'em.
Keep up the good work, king.
This content deserves to have way more eyes on it, loved the video.
I really, _really_ want a collab between Fromsoft and Brandon Sanderson. It just needs to happen
It'd be cool to see you go over soulslike games that didn't hit as well as the real deal
I hope it’s Good, I just finished the Souls series and I want more
MIyazaki wants to move away with Souls at this point. Six games is enough.
@@FSVR54 lmao Look what He did to my Boys and Girls Who tryna Clear the Gaem 😭😆😆🤣
Give Lies of P a shot then! I had an incredibly fun time with it
@@LudgerGuitar i platinum'd that one lol
Have you tried all the full builds possible up to NG7?
There's a small chance we could get a game set in a song of ice and fire. Just because George helped with Eldenring, and that world and history is already created, so more time could be spent on other parts of the game. But there is only a small chance.
Honestly I would love to see them do a game with senior combat mixed with their usual rpg mechanics and a slightly larger weapon range and see how they can iterate on the combat style when forced to balance it around more weapon types
Unpopular opinion but i pray for a demons souls 2.
That would probably be awesome.
@@zombiedemon1762 You bet it would.
@@ClashNCough-Local-Series . The lore of Demons Souls as explained in a VaatiVidya video is kinda way too awesome for it to not get a sequel game.
Sure the actual gameplay is what matters most in a video game but I would also especially love to see where the Demons Souls lore can be taken.
No
It’s crazy how we forget about armored core
Hoping FromSoftware dedicates their next IP towards a magic/range aspect of combat and have it feel just as engaging like how melee combat has been from their previous titles. Elden Ring has done some to mitigate the standard method of create distance -> shoot projectile -> dodge -> create distance -> shoot projectile -> dodge etc. Just thinking about it, this seems INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT to achieve which is probably the reason the standard method hasn't changed all that much throughout their games. Maybe their next game will be magic/range focus and they'll finally have another aspect of combat to implement into their gameplay and opens up new and interesting ways to challenge the player. If we get another Elden Ring/Souls game with nothing changing with the magic/range aspect, that will be truly disappointing.
agreed magic/range needs heavy rework
I can't disagre more magic is boring and dull, what fromsoftware needs is eliminate magic from they next games just like in sekiro
No no no no, there’s no depth to that it’s really dumb. Be happy u get any ranged spells at all, especially the quality in Elden. You are playing a totally different inferior game that we don’t want
@@bloodywolf6483exactly, I wanna see 0 effort dedicated to this crap . But I’m no fool, there’s a demand. A lot of idiots looking to buy the game for no reason
I personally want a Caster-focused Souls game, because there is a ton of unexplored design space that has yet to even be tapped beyond the surface level.
Especially in regards to Caster combat/gameplay, which has basically been totally ignored since Demon's Souls, whereas Martial gameplay receives an improvement with nearly every single release.
Outside of spells, Elden Ring offered practically nothing to Casters beyond the most barebones of effort, especially since it tried to brute force Casters to play as Spellblades instead.
I think it was supposed to be a primarily magic based game called spellbound. But there could be a lot of things they're working on
Dude that's an awesome insight. I'm aware of your immense experience and I appreciate your enlightened look into what we have to look forward to.
It ain't that serious bro
I think this is how the Manson family got started lol
I'm watching you both
Future game will have more refined combat system for sure. DS1 introduced some unique weapon abilities(dragon weapons, nito, quilaag sword etc.), the idea they expended in DS3 with weapon skills. In Elden Ring we see this idea to be fully developed in ashes of war system. I think we were promised to see something new in the upcoming DLC. If I understood it correctly it will be basically ash of war that changes player’s whole combat style. If successful we’ll see this new more refined different combat styles in future FS games.
Beautiful video. Finally someone talking about this
I primarily want to see FromSoft push their creative and mechanical experimentation with their next few games. I would love to see them try out some new inspirations as jumping off point for their settings (e.g., India either classical during the Gupta Empire or medieval during the Delhi Sultanate, the Caribbean during the age of colonial expansion, the Dreamlands of the Mythos). Mechanically I have less specific ideas, I would just like to see FromSoft continue to experiment with different levels of openness in level design, and with different amounts of variety of buildcrafting.
I love learning about new IP's. I hope Fromsoft take their time on their future games.
I wanna see a Chrono trigger style of jumping through different time periods within the same world.
I love when the player causes some change to the world through their actions, and I’d like to see more of that brought in.
Bloodborne does some of that as you progress the story, but it would be great to perhaps start the game in a destroyed world, but be able to travel to earlier or later time periods.
There will be Miyazakis "more abstract" , non-delapidated magic-centric game that was hinted at, which could already be near completion. & there will be a new entry, possibly a series continuation or spritual successor, with a different director & him almost certainly as supervisor.
Live under a rock? That "magic-game" was stated to be a false leak a while ago.
@@FSVR54
Unfortunately.
It would've been nice for From to focus on a setting based around Casters and Spellcasting.
Especially since it would mean that Casters would FINALLY get some sort of real combat update. As is, Caster gameplay is still near identical to Demon's Souls with very minor tweaks.
@@FSVR54 we all pray that's true. Imagine a game dedicated to the least liked form if combat, magic. God that would suck if they wasted resources on that instead of what we want. Imagine a whole game of cowering cross map spamming blue light at the boss instead of fighting it
No one wants to play as a mage. Run away, drink blue potion simulator is boring AF
As long as I can explore a unique world with surprises around most corners, see items up on ledges and have to puzzle out how to get to them, and face off against interesting enemies, I'll be happy. I guess if I could add one element to their formula, I'd like to see an increase in stealth possibilities.
I really wish that they would combine the souls-like genre with the gameplay of Armored Core 6. I know the mech genre isn't that popular, but when you actually play the game you will be amazed in how much it feels like you are getting freed from a cage and can move however you want. With more vertical combat I can imagine myself that there will be more unique and quality boss fights than ever before. I can see the problem with the classic souls-like bosses that you would be too strong to have such a moveset, but maybe there will be some kind of restriction, so that you can't use your vertical playstyle as much as always.
Just imagine you fight Gael, but you have some really wild dashes and in-air combat which can make this fight feel even more legendary as it already is.
The balancing of the dodging and moveset will clearly need some kind of change, but the general concept of this kind of fighting style would really rise above all standarts for me.
Please keep in mind that this is just a general thought and in my imagination it has a lot of potential.
Space. Souls borne game in space with a vast alien enemy type and bosses, some ballistic or laser weapon mechanics that can be utilized like magic or Bloodborne like parrying but combat mainly centered on melee and utilizing alien prosthetics and weapons.
We got to see if there is a character that stands out from the rest like in Ds1 and Bloodborne. Then theorize from there
The amount of spells and incants these games have, i think fromsoftware can make their own version of Hogwarts.
Great video!
Miyazaki-led FromSoftware ch 2? I was born ready
It won't be Souls since he wants to move on. And that's a good thing
Dark souls two: revisioned. Dark souls two in its “initial” state couldn’t run on the ps3, which lead the b team to scrap most of the story and start over. I would LOVE them to go back, using the new, more powerful consoles, and give us what they actual wanted to, without a time crunch. I can only imagine a darksouls two, still with unlimited power standing, and unique weapons, but on-par with Bloodborne.
Would adore another BB type or Sekiro i love then both so much

@@davidnewhart2533 dunno what you mean fella
Was just wondering this myself yesterday
My first time playing soulsborne I was astonished at the level design, it's amazing.
the good thing is that only the sky is the limit for soulsborne because of the variaty of the games that exist but i would like it to be more liniar with branching paths than open world. i hope they make another grand story line like dark souls but with a new setting.
It will be a whole new experience. Like a Sekiro or Bloodborne Type game. Completely different IP. I have heard rumors of that magic based Souls game that I can’t remember the name of rn but that could be a legit thing.
honestly i would love fromsoft to explore the warhammerverse.
imagine a warhammer fantasy open world. the world is already made as are the enemies you might face.
and for dlc maybe the chaos wastes with the norsca tribes as dlc 1 and the chaos realm as dlc2. just base the game on it, no need to use named characters just base your designs and invent some heavy metal names.
and maybe as a cool sidequest that sets you on the path for the bad ending; hunting the armor of the everchosen with every piece being guarded by a greater demon (bloodthirster, great unclean one, keeper of secrets, lords of change and be'lakor). this world has alot of enemies, area's, magic and factions.
hell even covenants create themselves (khorne = invasions, tzeench = mad summon seeing how you never know what he wants to do, nurgle = you get summoned auto to help other nugles who get invaded and slaneesh as a duel or something)
I mainly want to see them really try to focus on replayability. Maybe even make a rougue-like. With the amount of depth they're known for it would feel never-ending
If not then otherwise I'd want to see them definitely incorporate some elements of sekiro. Namely, attack power and health being directly tied to world/boss progression.
I've been wondering lately, does it need to be located at medieval/ancient times? Why not in the future, just like Dead Space?
If they indeed have no plans for making sequels to their past games, then it seems like they're going for a one-off film director route, where the games they make are extremely high quality and unique but are one and done. Which makes their portfolio small and compact but colorful and versatile.
1:55 BLACK SHEEP DEEZ NUTS!
While not selling as much because it doesn’t carry the strong IP. It winning GOTY is a BIG reason why Souls is so mainstream today.
Sekiro 2: KYS edition
Or they could make an Aragorn game, but I don’t think they like using other people’s IPs
The l3ak3d sotry about the next game being a bloodbonresque magic setting world seems like a fitting prospect for the dense interconectivity of a large open world, as it was discussed in the l3ak3d video...Spellbound or somethin
Science Fantasy or Sci-Fi Western are the settings, that's my bet as far as that goes.
That being said, it'll likely be something somewhat more experimental like Sekiro. Which I would be psyched for
A water based game where your rolls and movement are omni directional with some bloodborne- lovecraftian-esque enemies, could open up so much in terms of combat
My main issue with Sekiro that made me quit the game is how many minor npcs i fought in boss fights it was too tiring for my brain. Because i wanted to fight a boss and i was fighting a mob good example is the grandma you fight that is jumping around on strings
bro just run in circles around the outside of the beams
You quit on lady butterfly?
@@Gorlami90 ong smh 🤦♂️
My approach to thinking about what could be coming next is by looking at what they have drawn from for inspiration so far.
While Elden Ring seemed to draw mostly from things like Lord of the Rings, which is pretty much just your generic phantasy adventure setting (at least at this point with it being used so much as inspiration), it drew from many places for inspiration for each part of the map i think. The rest of the games were a bit more set in their setting and inspirations.
Bloodborne draws from Victorian era London with a gothic twist, Dark Souls draws from Medieval times in Europe i believe, Sekiro draws from Edo period Japan.
Are there any other inspirational times in history to draw from? I can only think of about a handful for now: American west; Vikings; China; WW2.
China and WW2 r a bit over done, but still viable settings.
The American West could be interesting if you put in enough thought into the twist for the world. MechWest and EvilWest took the west idea and made a fresh twist on it.
A Viking game could be cool, fighting mythical creatures like Valhalla did or fighting massive sea creatures on a boat? I could see something similar to how Granblue Fantasy Relink did the proud difficulty boss Bahamut Versa on the flying ship.
I thought I heard about them working on an Elden Ring 2? But I'm honestly down for a new IP as well.
I’d love a return to kings field
We are absolutely blessed to have fromsoftware in our lives
Personally, I’d like a return to a more compact, tailored world such as Dark Souls. From what’s been said, the ER dlc may be more interlinked as a world. Cannot wait either way, whatever they make next I’ll wait. Or Sekiro, part two…into the west
Based on Demon Souls remake (I realize bluepoint made that) and revitalization of Armored Core, I have a feeling a Kings Field remake might be around the corner before we see something entirely new. I've never played any of them but I'm told they're the precursor to the "soulslike"
As a gamer I am glad that I’ve experienced every Souls game and Expansion. I started at Sekiro and ended at DS2. Every game was good. Really good.
The lion king 2024, thats the move for fromsoft
I saw in some video last year that they were supposedly going to make a game codenamed “Spellbound.” Apparently, the combat is more focused on spells or something. Sounds cool, but even still I’d do some shameless things to see just one more Bloodborne. Ah, what I would give….
I wanna see Dark Souls prequel
one of the game dreams I have is a fromsoft version of star wars the old republic years, the sith and the jedis are in total war with each other for a long time. it is a ruthless, brutal and dark times in star wars history. i want to play Darth Revan (with option to play origin characters) in a dark souls combat system and miyazaki dark fantasy theme. but... it's only a dream but... at the same time larian created a baldurs gate masterpiece, I think fromsoftware can too. oh well...or fromsoft will create BG4 with the darksouls combat (instead of turn based) and darkf fantasy setting ( imagine what will they do with the evil path) , this will also be great dream. again, oh well it's just a dream.
Fun fact if you count the rings on the elden ring game cover there is one ring for every different souls game
I never could get into demon souls, bloodbourne, Elden ring and the other dark souls titles but I absolutely love sekiro and dark souls remastered. I ve had so much fun playing those titles. 😅
I really want to see online features from dark souls 1 stuff like the vagrants and a return of grave lording
We need a FromSoft game based on Africa.
its a bloodborne 2 type vibe, i think many of us can agree
No it is not
It is insane how big FromSoft has gotten in the last few years. Miyazaki is now in charge of a billion dollar company. They deserve all of their success and I can’t wait to see what they cook up next. I know they don’t like sequels so whatever they do next will be unique and i’m sure it will be amazing. I’m still hoping for a Sekiro DLC, spiritual successor, or something that has elements of Sekiro’s combat system similar to Lies of P
Sekiro 2. Either a Chinese or Korean setting as I believe they said the Dragon comes from a land to the West. I wish it was Bloodborne, but I feel like they'd save that for a launch title on PS6 since Sony is probably learning they need to have more AAA games ready to go when a console releases.
I hope they stick with Armored Core. AC6 probably the best feeling game they've made, and want to see it expanded on
More people should've bought it. No reason after ER that no FS game shouldn't be the best-selling of the year. Fans are weak. I bought it day one, amazing game
I'm very curious what they are cooking now that AC has been released and Shadow of the Erdtree is about to ship. They are always working on two or three games at the same time. It would be foolish of them not to put to use the combat mechanics of Sekiro in another game. Also, Miyazaki has been contemplating how to do a more abstract dark fantasy game for a while (whatever 'abstract' is supposed to mean).
A king's field remake should come next. Bring the granddad of souls games back to life.
Good video!
Wild idea - Hand to Hand combat with Sekiro fighting mechanics
Idk but nobody bother Miyazaki while he's cooking
I honestly hope FS is making a sekiro 2, i get that miyazaki doesn’t like sequels but it would almost feel strange not to have on. Like the shura ending already sounds interesting and homecoming is basically sekiro going to china/ the west so they literally left it open for sequel bate.
Wonder if they will ever do something with some of their old IPs, e.g. King's Field. But I wonder if that would work, the first person dungeon crawler. I mean, it kinda works with Bethesda games like Elder Scrolls, so why not a King's Field in some open world with big dungeons to explore? Or who knows what else? I am trying to think how some of the old IPs would work in nowadays world and whether they can be successful or not, it's a risky thing. Meanwhile, I will enjoy new indies that try to do King's Field like.
I think a pirate souls would be nice. You can have magic (voodoo and stuff), guns, swords... I mean, throw in a few ship battles and we're good
WE NEED A ‘SEKIJO’ PREQUEL AS THE SCULPTURE
I could picture fromsoft pulling off a "dying earth" type of setting for a game. Imagine starting a game thats your typical medieval fantasy but as you go on you realize its post apocalyptic, sooo far into the future that the sun is dying
1500h in ds3
800h in bb (and yet i still do prefer bb over ds3 lol)
and 60h in sekiro , you know what brings these 3 titles together for me? the fact that i have 100% of achievments in all 3
my only problem with sekiro is the fact that you can 100% the game (including gauntlets) in 60h and then literally never play it again because you've already gotten the full expirience
I just played lies of p and I am ITCHING for more soulsbourne games
Given the Sony push into the PC market and the absence of Demon Souls and Bloodborne on the platform, those two ports would be relatively low investments that would print money, which will be a top priority to new investors.
Im here for the malenia thumbnail
Shadow Tower 2 here we gooooOooo.
With the From Software record, I would say "Surprise Me" is on the menu.
Agility would be balanced if they just made the roll faster the less frames it got, this way you trade s with regaining control early from the roll
my friend and i guessed the name of the dlc we were thinking shadow of mordor and then we said shadow of the erdtree jokily we said it wouldnt be that generic and well here we are and i cant wait for this dlc
I think an Atlantis themed souls game would be incredibly cool
I honestly hope that they'll one day make Lost Kingdom's 3.
I hope they capitalize and double down on Armored Core with the revitalization its gained of recent, at least before it "fades to obscurity forever" (ACFA quote). I'm not necessarily hoping for AC6 DLC or even AC7, rather official ports or remakes of older generations. Like a collection of each separate generation. This way, A team can focus on their next soulsborne while another team can work on the porting. Best of both worlds scenario imo.
Yes capitalize on the game that died after a week 😂
@@_BlackenedSunAC6 sales were successful. I don’t know what you’re on about. Sold like 3 times as much as its predecessor.
@@_BlackenedSunThat's an insane claim. Armored Core isn't about multiplayer activity and never has been, it's a single player series and AC6 was an incredible success.
Hope they do a western cowboy type game similar to Red Dead or Gun some day
