You guys DEFINITELY need to add it to one of your cross country trips! They also have really unique artisan booths that I think you'd love - I got a bunch of really cool jewelry=D

I lived here for 10 years in the 90s. Managed the Hotel Restaurant. There were some other restaurants that I worked at that are no longer there. Oh, the stories I could tell!

That's so cool! I'd LOVE to hear those stories 🤣 Did you have a favorite donkey? I heard the locals kind of know them all since they come around every day

@@julana Back when I was there, The town stud burro was Chico, he was quite the guy, had a perfect circle marking on his side. My best friend and I had a motorized, mechanical horse we used to run up and down the street on...Chico never really got comfortable with that noisy rival hanging around town; used to try to challenge it every so often!

We visited Oatman a couple days ago. It was 105 degrees and not one burro in site (although I certainly could smell them). They are definitely smarter then me, nobody should be in Oatman when its 105. The drive in from Kingman is not for the faint of heart!

I agree about the drive!! It made me a little nervous heading up there. Too bad you didn't get to see any -- hopefully watching them on YT could make up for it a little bit!

Burros actually. And you are putting them in danger of getting hit along the road.
