Minor correction @0:57 ...It's actually programmable to 1/100th of a second

You are absolutely correct. I misspoke, I must have had Eureka on my mind. The peak is adjused in 1/100th of a second intervals

Can it compete with fine grinding with the company e10 conical grinder?

The Peak has flat burrs and can grind fine enough to choke any espresso machine.

Thank you for the response. I asked because the Slayer is on my short list for the house, and during my research I have come across a few threads where people are experiencing lots of mechanical issues and the response is usually change the grind to finer and use the the recommendation by Slayer the Compak e8-10. If you were spending your hard earned money what machine would invest in? La Marzocco or Slayer? What is the maintenance history comparison?

@@billybastar4022 a grinder cannot cause mechanical issues with a machine. You could have extraction issues if you grind coffee with an unsuitable grinder but this would not affect the operation of the machine. Certainly anything in the range of a Mahlkonig is more than adequate. I use the Peak with a Slayer every day.

Beauty..I appreciate your perspective and expertise. Thank you for taking the time to answer my concerns. How is Slayers customer service and warranty? Is the machine owner serviceable?

@@billybastar4022 customer service depends on the dealer. The warranty and service is the responsibility of the selling dealer. Slayer in general is pretty good, they take care of us very well but it is our responsibility to take care of our customers. The machine is not difficult to self service

May I know your opinion on which grinder is superior in terms of grind consistency and distribution the Peak or the Mythos 2? I am divided on which one to get and I would appreciate if anyone could tell me the difference in the cup. Thanks

Hi, I haven't yet used the Mythos 2 so I can't give you a comparison. The Mythos One Climapro has excellent distribution but I prefer the taste of the Peak

@@iDrinkCoffeeCanada Thanks for the feedback. Does the Peak has reliability issues? I have heard it had some mechanical issues in the past, but I am not sure. Great content btw and I just got the HG-1 from you guys too 😍so all is good

@@TheAnani congrats, the HGone is an awesome grinder. We have not experienced any reliability issues with the Peak. Mahlkonig is a solid manufacturer and if any issue does arise they will certainly take care of it
