If you have a Model 3 2021 refreshed model, a lot of the Amazon floor mats won't fit in the front properly. I found that out the hard way. There's a subtle enough change that the front mats should be re-measured for the 2021. The M3 2021 Tesmanian mats fit my car perfectly. I recommend a screen protector as well. I got one in the matte finish and it really does cut down on the the visible fingerprints and glare.
Other owners feel having a set of pucks that protect the battery pack at the car jack points is important as many tire services are not prepared to remove Tesla wheels for repair
I’m 5’8 and the seat does go back a decent bit but I think it might be a bit close. If you’re close to a Tesla center or showroom I would highly recommend making an appointment to go test drive one! It sold me real quick!
Subscriber 47 checking in! Good luck, I’m looking at a Mylr with a hitch. I’m holding out for 2wd to come back with 4680 out of Texas. Maybe longer range and federal tax credit will be back at that point also. Planning on buying the Tesla Semi as soon as I can.

Is the trunk mat still spill proof with the fold for easy access to the lower trunk? Hard to tell from the video on that part or from Tesmanian's site.
It would say yes, it would be spill proof. There's a good lip that goes all around the edges. Unless you tried to use it as a pool, I think you'd be fine!

I went with Tesmanian because I liked the side coverage and the simpler look of them over the 3D max spiders. I’ve been back and forth about a screen protector. It was one of the first things I considered but I decided to wait a few months to see if it was needed. So far I’m not jumping to do it but we’ll see.
In my experience when leasing a car, typically they don’t want you to customize things like that but it would depend on what Tesla’s lease agreement states. You could always do it and then throw the aero hub caps back on before returning the car…

I noticed that on the ceiling there are 2 outlets, one is being used for the garage opener, and one is free. Would you think I can just plug in my Tesla into that for charging every night?
So I’m not an electrician or expert but I would think as long as it’s a regular outlet, then it should work. I suggest you find a way to secure the charging block so it’s not just hanging from the outlet. The last thing you’d want happening is the cable and charging block to fall onto the roof of your car and possibly crack it.

Hey Joe, thanks for watching! The roof already comes tinted(stock) with multiple layers that block Infrared and UV light. I keep the Cabin Overheat Protection feature on which prevents the internal cabin from going over 105°F. Even in the hottest parts of the summer this isn’t a problem or concern. The cabin cools off very quickly and I usually turn on the AC about 3-5 min before I’m going to get in the car and it’s perfect! I wouldn’t worry about tinting the roof any more than it comes. I do recommend tinting the rest of the windows that you’re allowed to!
So I live in an apartment building right now, otherwise I would have a faster charger set up in my garage. I’ve asked for the building to have them installed in our garage, which would be beneficial since there’s 7 Tesla’s and 3 other EVs but I’ve received no response on that…

good pt with the mudflaps however on a sedan i just feel like theyre misplaced, dont fit to the overall look. Think ill settle with PPF n ceramic coat

Re the window tints were they an add on like going to a shop and having a film put on or did Tesla windows come with the windows tinted?
They were added on after I took delivery. Only the roof and part of the rear window are tinted. The side windows and windshield are not.

That’s a 120 volt outlet. You will get only 3-4 miles per hour of charge.

This is the only car company I know of, that sells a $40k car and DOESN'T include floor mats. How cheap do you have to be to not include floor mats?

@Toby Foote The Long Range and Performance come with the carpet floor mats. The Standard Range+ doesn’t actually come with any! Kinda crazy!
