Pete Anderson to me not only made Bakersfield guitar cool again but his production skills with Dwight were special

What a killer player! Pete has been so solid for so many years and he only gets better with age!

really enjoyed seeing Pete showing me a lot about phrasing rather than lighting the neck on fire with his beyond mortal being skills - refreshing.

I didn't know he sang. Sounds great! And there is the playing. Like someone has said already getting better with age.

Pete's the best! Go back and listen to his masterful work with Dwight. You'll be blown away. It would be a dream show to see Vince Gill, Brent Mason and Pete do a session.... throw in some Robben Ford and just get funky country blues.

Interesting the way he talked. Music is, according to Beethoven, the joining point between Man (if you’ll pardon the expression) and God. The tragedy is that even dedicated music fans see it as basically escapist :- you go to a concert and bliss out, then Monday morning back to the “real world”
Yet truth is that music is the real world and if you let it lead you it will take you to where God is. Krishna was a musician, never spoke, just played the flute. Tried to lead folk away from the slavery of ambition, emotion, fear, envy and hate into the secure loving world of eternal life
Not sure I support his views on Sinatra, though. For me his performance is part of a covert conspiracy to appreciate the skill and sophistication of his work. Singing should be more visceral than that.
Lennon and McCartney, together and separate as singer composers which Sinatra never was, and as singers are more my idea of what singing should be.

Is he a great singer? Nope, he's not. Can he carry a tune? Absolutely! Where can we hear your voice for comparison?
