- Can a shoe really represent Bond's swagger and attitude? We review the Highbury shoes from Crockett and Jones that Bond wears with his London suits from No Time To Die. Are they action oriented? Are they sleek and sexy? Are they a killer combination? In other words, are they BOND?

My dad said that in the 50's some theatres did have smell-o-vision. At certain points in the film people would spray certain scents into the theatre. The shoes look awesome.
LOL....bring back smell-o-vision!
I have a few pairs of C&J shoes now, but Craig likes to go for the long and pointy ones. They look alright from another’s point of view, but I can’t look down and see long shoes. I go for the shorter more rounded styles. City sole looks the same as my wife’s boots.
Tell your wife she has impeccable tastes! :)
because he had pointy feets..... but how can this guy know how comfortable the shoe are with out crease?
The ‘chisel-toed’ shoes are not longer than any other shoe. M.
I’ve never seen a single Bond movie but, your content has me captivated. Great work mate! 🔥
Thank you for your great passion toward the franchise Mr. Zaritsky
It's fun to share!
David, you put a smile on my face every time I watch TBE.
Then my job here is done... :)
I'm glad you did a review of these shoes. I think of getting a pair the Crockett & Jones Alex shoes for upcoming holiday party. Good to know that there shoes are really high quality.
Super quality!
Very elegant last. Really suits my tastes, so I’m very pleased. Sweet vlog as ever, David. Oh, and it’s a chiselled toe 👍
I enjoyed your recent holiday update’s. Keep up the excellent work.
Regards
Thanks so much!
Excellent review, David. The three-tie derby is the ultimate Bond shoe, and this one is a modern take (but still classic) on the original Connery shoe from Dr. No. Now I really need to get a shoe with the City sole. It sounds like it would be great for someone like me who walks a lot in the city. -MS
You would love these...!
Late to the game but I ordered mine today. Great video, thanks David.
David, thanks for the review. Love the shirt and cufflinks too.
Had to! ;)
Waiting for the new Omega! Great video as always.
Thank you for the unboxing shoe review. They are Bond.
I agree!
Stunning shoes love the shirt your wearing too!
I own a C&J Black Leather Tetbury after watching your review David and I must say they are the most elegant and comfortable boots Ive ever owned! I did found some extra money to buy the shoe tree with it too! I have one problem though! Those leather shoe laces that came with it keeps untying within minutes of tying.....Does anyone had this problem? I have only worn the shoes a handful times in the last 4 yrs and now they are in the shoe box....
Thanks for the review those shoes look great
Hey David! Great video and lovely shoes. The toe box shape is actually called a chisel toe!
Oh cool...thanks for the info!
I have a pair of Brosnan era Church's. Quite heavy & suits casual trousers as well as smart. Comfortable but prefer shoe laces to buckles.
Looks amazing, thanks for ur contributions to The Bond Community
Truly my pleasure!
Hi david if you can please teach us how bond ties his tie it would be nice of you all the way from Afghanistan 🇦🇫
Regards
Hi David, enjoyed the video. I bought a pair after Skyfall and have really enjoyed them. I haven't seen any announcements from Crockett and Jones about their shoes appearing in No Time To Die as they had released for Skyfall and Spectre. Have you heard any info about other C&J shoes that will be worn in addition to the Highbury?
I assume they may make mention to it closer to the movie...
TheBondExperience if you ask these brands, they have to pay, nowadays, to get their products featured in the film. I gather it changed around 10 years ago, when the producers realised there was money to be made from product placement.
Love this channel
Thanks so much!
What was it you was going to show us buddy ? The thing that you mentioned at the end of the video? Also awesome review, I’m going to upset the wife when I buy a pair tomorrow haha
Break it to her gently!
I’ve had my ones with the Dainite sole for over five years! They are my go to shoes. I’d be interested in the difference between them and the city sole?
Will let you know!
Fantastic shoes
Most gents here in the UK will wear a Dainite sole, it's a practical option when trying to cope with our inclement weather..
Makes perfect sense!
The best pair of shoes I have ever owned. I have the Alex wholecut.
Crockett and Jones Alex is my favorite shoe last.
Absolutely beautiful!
When I first saw the thumbnail for this video I could have sworn it said ‘No Time To Tie’ shoes!
same shoes from skyfall ,have them love them ( whit out the new sole )
They are keepers!
I hope you went for a drive in your Aston wearing your new shoes. M.
Those are impeccable shoes.
Thank you!
Little late on this lol. As much as I love a beautiful pair of shoes I would truly expect a company as well renowned as Crockett and Jones to include shoe trees in a pair of shoes that cost 650 dollars. Maybe that’s just me but that’s my 2 cents
great shoes
Thanks so much!
I love jems bond... Love from india
What happened to the John Lobb shoes? They cost a bit.
They threw in a second shoe! lol!
They look gorgeous down there. M.
How much is this in Canadian dollars?
That wobbly table was driving me mad
Very nice David!
Rubber sole shoes are a norm in Europe since many men walk.
They are subtle elegance, looks like one piece of leather also.
I love the "dull" shine.
Thank you David!
Those are keepers.
I'm goung to check out their site.
Have a great week-
That's a great choice David, thank you.
Thanks so much....yes, Europeans in general are excellent walkers!
Norm don't mean good... dress shoe should be wood,..... it repairable so why go with rubber..... it not like you walking all day with them.... Other wise just get 50 buck shoe one do the same thing....
@@campkira wooden shoes !?!?
Somedody knows if the phrase "oxford no browns" is from some 007 movies??
A soul made for walking around the city. I've been wearing the wrong soul for the last 20 years.
"SIGH" When you describe the city sole as "ready for action" I was hoping they would insert some form of sneakers technology into the sole to make it more comfortable to wear on a day-to-day basis. 😅
I'd always dreamt of a traditional dress shoes company collaborating with Nike or Adidas. Imagine wearing a pair of traditional derby or Oxford with Boost or React material in the midsole! Heavan.
Pantherellas? M
Gold toe....I think....
Cost ?
$650
I found them at $650.00 at: www.crockettandjones.com/highbury-black-calf-city/
Yep...what they said above. :)
@@heeroy7 FUCK.... that like 3 jordan.... that can be resold for $3000.... i had nice shoe..... but won't paid that pice ever... (well did buy LV.....for wedding..)
If you want to know about bond product you know where to go. The Bond Experience.
Beautiful. M.
Can easily get quality vegan dress shoes just like these. Only way to go.
They certainly don’t make vegan plastic shoes like this !!
Plus you’d never see me wearing plastic shoes, leather is the only way to go
You’ve just destroyed James Bond most successful series in history. If you lived Ian Fleming’s 007 you would keep it as written. Only HATING it do you demand it be opposite of written.
Actors live the more you hey convince of lie the more it’s about THEM not the story.
We’ll never watch Broccoli Wilson present cast ever again.
