Brooks have you ever used a lump of chain or something attached to a dog leash or something similar? You attach the snippet to your line and winch it down to where your lure is stuck, once the chains gets set on the hooks you can jank the hooks out of whatever theyre stuck on. It will possibly break the hooks but at least you get your lure back. Works for my fishing in Sweden at least, ive saved so much money using it when I'm out with the boat

Rigid interior shelves. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBrJOMRANMI82dPOK0qoDtHhP-JpbErUg Yeah the shelves sometimes get misaligned with their supports in the lid if you don't have the lid fully flat, or you twist the shelves as you're pulling them out, but pretty much a non issue; just reseat and you're fine. Some spools of thread are a little too big and cause the shelves to not close all the way, however with the clasp you can still get the lid locked if the shelves aren't completely collapsed without breaking things ... so far.

That's why I switched to hollow core... Just got sick of useless line... You can do a solid splice with anythin' 30lb and up as well though (if you have the eyesight for it) but it's a pain in the ass and still not as smooth as hollow, but saves a lot of money, only for the first 50-100m I actually cast I prefer to not have any connections, even a splice, except a heavier snag/shock leader which is fine but not necessary since hollow is way less likely to get frayed off than solid or even mono, as long as it's good quality, Cortland C-16 is the best I know, Tight Line the second, both Bett than JB. Btw: don't be afraid of twist or castin' distance with hollow, it casts pretty much identical and since you can go a bit lighter than with solid often even better, second twist actually affects the lines abrasion resistance way less than if it was solid or a super tight hollow, even when the same fibers are used. Don't ask me why but I tested it on braids from manufacturers who use the same exact materials for hollow and solid and in 100lb+ they're "solid" is splicable, but still woven more like a solid and the hollow can take way more abrasion than the solid when twisted, though it's roughly the same without twist

Unless you can afford $2500 for one set up possibly more I don’t think we need to know ahaha, $150 lure $300 line $120 shock leader, $1300 reel $1200 rod. That’s just one throw his got over $1000 on lures in that one Daiwa tackle box
