I saw a mum with three kids around 2-3 years old buying 200 gram jigs, massive GT stickbaits and poppers, tuna skirts and a flying fish lure😂 Good luck to them😂
Most ppl fish to eat it. Only bored ppl catch and release. I mean that's why most of the leisure fishermen fish becuz they are bored. I never go fishing to go fishing. I always eat my fish I catch.
@4:40 I got surrounded by a pack of Dingo's once while walking with my dog in the NT before sunrise one day, we heard them coming as there was no wind but they were still stealthy all the same. They closed in tight & checked us out with no fear on either of our behalf (Grew up in the NT) We didn't threaten them & they didn't threaten us, & after a few minutes they wandered off back into the pre-dawn darkness & left us alone to walk in the bush. My dog was a 3 year old mix breed including Dingo, lab, Red Healer & others. I called her my Todd River Spaniel. Her name was Ella Bella or E.B for short. I really enjoyed that expierience & will never forget it & I miss my E.B as this was many years ago. Great Video Brooksy to raise that memory for me, Thank you.
@@undyneuwu2541 mateee honestly and I feel like if u have enough money for a good camera and a boat this is a pretty achievable goal I mean there's other shit that goes into like editing and apps which cost money but with enough hard work its achievable especially since not many people are doing this in Australia atm.

Awesome Brooksy . Ive been watching since early morning tide. You and your mates have always shown utmost respect and care for the fish you catch ( and release) . That douchbag in the comments is clueless. Cheers from New York.
Your passion for the sport is such an admirable character to have. Would seriously sell a kidney to cast plugs with such talented anglers. Fish the Eastern Coast of the US where they look at you oddly for releasing legal sized fish. The mentality and mindset towards conservation is pure ignorance and arrogance. Released a 150 kilo Majestic Bluefin just days ago that hammered a 200mm West Coast Gangsta Popper. Your videos are great way for me to escape the daily grind. Unfortunately I only get 125-175 days a year on water. Thanks to all of you. Hold much admiration for you Brooksy and John!!
That is way cool. Next time you try it. When the marlin comes up and hits the bait with his bill, throw the rod in Freespool. Marlin use their bills to kill their food. If the bait does slow down or stop after they hit it 99% of the time they will just move on to another bait. This is why large spot fishing boats use out riggers. When they hit it pulls the line from the clip stopping the bait giving them a chance to eat. Will definitely help your hook up rate.
The ten tin top water teaser lol It just doesn't get any better than this one👍🐟🐡🐠🤙🤙🤙I remember last years marlin videos and this was as epic❤ Brooksy!!!
They sell them all rigged up at all the landings n different sizes too. Most effective is a balloon attached on a kite launched with a rod. Then you can attach your rig to the kite line dangling it behind the boat skipping on top of the water like a flying fish. Good luck 🍀 🎣🎣🎣
When the Marlin come up Shallow to Fraser Island are they coming up to spawn? Would like to know why the Marlin come up so shallow once-a-year like this
I’m all over these new Nomad lures mate… image how good they would go at nine mile when the big kings are there chasing the flying fish! I will be giving them a crack at spot x soon.. I think trailing a single 15cm behind one should do the trick.. Wicked vid mate!!
I'd try using light gage hooks definitely have a much better hook up ratio. Bonze platinum light gage hooks are the best ones. Pretty sure they are made by bkk
We started trolling rubber fliers from kites here in New Jersey USA, We've been having better days with a couple baits off kites than our traditional 8 rod spread
shoulda done a bait and switch on that lil marlin, reel yo lures ull oh take a circle hook rigged ballyhoo pitch and switch, let it eat, stick into freespool, point rod towards and slowly ease up drag and bring the rod tip up
Hey Brooksy, is this the time of year where you are able to catch Marlin off the beach at Fraser Island? I assume so since you posted this video but just curious. I live in the state so no worries. Lol
This is actually the most impressive footage of small Billfish ive ever seen ¡ the location is another thing i dont know if its an offshore small island or a beach . I think they must be a drop off pretty close to the shore but what an INCREDIBLE footage ¡
BROOKSY NEXT TIME YALL DO THIS PICK THE ROD UP OUT OF THE HOLDER AND FEED THE LURE TO HIM HE'LL SMASH IT ALMOST EVERYTIME YOU'LL GET TWICE THE HOOK UPS 🤘🏽 GOOD LUCK MATE AWSOME VIDEO AS USUAL
Brooksy your such a loveable pin head(pun) my wife spotted where your where after seeing the dingo that didn’t steal a baby in platypus bay. PS after moving to WA 27 years ago we use to travel and fish Fraser.
Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.
I saw a mum with three kids around 2-3 years old buying 200 gram jigs, massive GT stickbaits and poppers, tuna skirts and a flying fish lure😂 Good luck to them😂

Love how you handle your fish, doing the most to keep them healthy on the release, most people don't care about that ❤
Most ppl fish to eat it. Only bored ppl catch and release. I mean that's why most of the leisure fishermen fish becuz they are bored. I never go fishing to go fishing. I always eat my fish I catch.

That's the coolest fishery anywhere! Awesome!
Over in San Diego US we use flyingfish attached to a Kite for Bluefin n Yellowfin Tuna . It’s very effective for bigger tuna cos they a quite spooky.

Brooksy with the water release of a Marlin, just turned this frown upside down! :) Frothin All Day!

Jeez this is sick! Ask Chrisso where he got his hat from.

Oh man. Im ice fishing, and you guys are doing that. Totes jelly.
How many knot your boat speed for trolling?
The drone footage of that new nomad flying fish at the beging of the video answered all my questions. I need one for San Diego tomorrow.

Master broosky im watching new supporter from philippines
Very slick!
Did the same with the drone, blood etc. Bought a super lightweight handle online which clamps around the drone and allows for safe grabbing.
Terus mengulang berkali kali di spot yang sama👍🏽
When the Marlin come up Shallow to Fraser Island are they coming up to spawn? Would like to know why the Marlin come up so shallow once-a-year like this
They are much to small to breed. Females breed from about 300lbs and males about 100 pounds. They come to the flats to feed
hey brooksy i just got my first proper setup for tuna.
i got a daiwa bg mq with a daiwa saltist hyper v2 7,6 casting rod

your taking the marlin to the pub this time?
That is so crazy how close to land when you get the marlin. Is it supper deep that close to land or are they just coming into water that shallow?
Is that the nomad fishing lure
Beautiful fish! Cheers!
