I have Fuch's. I'm glad that you mentioned the real world. The glare and florescent lights really bother me. I have a difficult time reading small print.

Hi Doc. Hope u r fine.
Very good presentation on corneal transplant.
Sir I had DMEK on 25 Jan 2022. Still my vision is not clear. I am using Pred Forte, 5% Saline, Hisopt, Vigamox. My eye surgeon claims that my graft is perfect. Then why it is not improving vision. Pl suggest any change in drops. How long it will take to improve

i have lost my sight completely after cornea transplant maybe due to rejection but for me it was a infection very painful but it is life wishing best for other peoples undergoing the proceadure

I’m sorry to hear about your loss of sight after the surgery. Reading these reviews makes me further reluctant to go in the direction of my Optometrist recommendation for a corneal transplant.
Would you mind elaborating what you mean by your eye rejecting the transplant?

@@davidjohnson4045 graft rejection they say it,the tissue (cornea)of donor rejected by immune system. But whatever happen to me not happened to many other patients,i met a man who was receiving the cornea for his second eye ,he was satisfied with his first proceadure,he gain his sight back after cornea transplant,(if you can utilize your contact lenses without much problem then risk is not worth taking,(it is going to happen but if you can use lenses then use them) but consult optholomologists too.Wishing you best luck..
