How well behaved is little dude forest. I've had loads of experience with my own son and a few nephews and every one of them flipped and made the barber pull his own hair out. He lasted ages before losing his patience. Love this well rounded family. Jealous in a good way and strive to be similar with my own kids.

Tuk-tuk is the name from Thailand for these three wheeled taxis. Most Indians don't use that name. In India it is called an Auto Rick-shah. That would be most recognizable name to most Indians. Or, if you prefer simpler 2 syllable names, you can call one an Auto or a Rick-shah. The 3 wheeled pedaled tricycle type, the traditional human powered one, was and is called a Rick-shah. 🙂

I would be scared too just like Forest, but he did endure through the whole process. I as a kid was terrified of haircuts and when then brought out the knife to shave and clean the edges I would start my tantrums. But Forest did an incredible job. I am so proud.

There is tragic angle too. Hair cutting is considered a "impure job". Only people from a particular caste became barber. They are untouchable caste. A person from upper caste won't eat foot in his home. The upper caste brahmin priest who conduct funeral, marriage, ritual will not eat d foo in d home a untouchables his purity will get sullied. India population 10 ℅ is upper caste, 50 ℅ are midling caste who are subsistence farmer, artisan, agricultural wage earner and finally 10 ℅ are untouchables who do works considered filthy ( cleaning sewers, death body handling, mid wives, toilet cleaners, barber, washer man, cobbler etc).
