can do small walk to Himalaya Tea shop via tushita ,outside the Vipassana gate at dharamkot , then walk across upper dharamkot to shiva cafe via the pipeline..good mint tea and pancake apart from meals....nice natural pools to relax in the stream...can walk downstream to the Bhagsu waterfall and temple and onwards from Bhagsu to mcleod on the main road....real enjoyable walk .

You might wanna try a one day trip to a place called Bir-Billing. It's about 1.5 hrs from Dharamsala. Known as best paragliding site in Asia. A few more suggestions while you are in Dharamsala are Naddi view point, Bhagsu and Mcleodganj, Indrunaag (pretty close to where you are living), WAH tea estate in Palampur (40 kms from Dharamsala).
