I got this book for my 90 year old Grandma for her birthday last month. She has been, for as long as I can remember, a dedicated non-fiction reader. I was a bit unsure how she would respond but she loved it. Mom called me no less than three times just to marvel over how many times grandam tried to get her to read the book. Now, my determinedly non-fiction grandma has requested copies of LOTR and will be starting on the Hobbit this weekend. :)
