Thanks Billy. More stunning scenery and some great fish as well. As for the "Billy jokes", keep them going. You make me smile when I am finding less and less to smile about. Thanks 👍🏾
Nice work Billy, some nice little marks there , the little wooden staging with the seat was a bit of me 😂 absolutely stunning place , appreciated brother 🎣🤘🏼
The underwater release was outstanding footage. I know that underwater release footage is very difficult for your circumstances, but more shots like that one would be very welcome!
Thanks hacker. But the reason why there aren't so many is because, it is so difficult. But when I have the opportunity, I always do it. Glad you light it brother, see you on the beach 👌
Just brilliant Billy. There is some good fishing to be had for sure in Norway, you are one lucky fella. I wish I had those marks near me, just flat sand beaches and a couple of estuary's in my neck of the woods.
Nice!!! You inspired me to try shore jigging after Lake Trout in Sweden. But I only have micro stuff(BFS) rods and reels. This will be the total opposite to that😁 Hopefully the new gear will arrive before the ice😬
Hi bud. I have never fished fresh water, so I really don't know how it goes. But when shore jigging in water of five to ten meters in depth, I will use jigs as little as 30 g. This is classed as micro jigging in saltwater. If this is what you've got, and the water is roughly the same depth. You should be good. Tight lines Brother 😁👌
Good evening honored sir Billy of fishing! Are you planning on returning to Ålesund next winter/spring to fish the cod migration again? The hunt for the 40lbs monster continues yes? Im going to be standing on the banks myself as often as I can, hopefully fill the freezer with some A5 prime cut atlantic cod!
Hi Billy I’ve enjoyed all your videos I wait for the next video with anticipation could you please tell me what phone app you use for depth and ground thanks in advance 👍👍
Great vid as usual billy 👍 any videos on the best way to get to norway from Ireland where to go gear to bring/not bring.. for anyone planning a trip cheers bill
Hi Brian. I drive most places. So that is off limits for most people. Travel arrangements are up to yourselves! But I can certainly help you out with the tackle. Standard surf rods, and reels will get the job done 90% of the time. Bait you catch or buy the supermarket. If it's lower fishing you’re after. 20-60g and 30-80g will get the job done most of the time. If you want to target halibut you will need to go a little bit heavier, 50-120. Lures themselves, slow jigs, fast jigs and soft plastics. The easiest time of the year to fish, is the summer. The most productive times are light spring late autumn. Hope you find this helpful, thanks brother 👌
Two great videos in one day, thanks Billy. Haven't caught codling/cod for a few years now, all gone it seems. The last ones I caught were riddled with worms, these ones you catch look pristine, have they worms in them Billy?
Sad to hear about the fish leaving your grounds! As it goes brother, most fish have worms in their belly. It's just, sometimes they're hard to see. Thanks Brother 😁👌
@@Billyfishing_watch I put it down to rampant over trawling, you can see them trawling up and down the bay way closer than I used to see them, practically within casting distance at times. You see dead juvenile and adult porpoises washing up on the beaches after ending up in their nets. They tried to exclude trawlers over 18 meters from fishing within 6nm but the lobby got that overturned in court and they are plundering mercilessly because the government are determined to put an end to it as soon as they can. Greed knows no bounds, it will end up like Canada where the Cod are to all intents and purposes gone forever.
Hi bud. I have fished in Greece, but in the early spring, and it was quite hard going. But if you put the hours in towards the autumn, I'm sure you will catch some good fish. Thanks Brother 👌
Normally they go up on a week by week basis. But recently there has been rather a lot of storms and other things going on in my life so everything has fallen out a sequence.
If anyone asks me for good marks in Ireland, I send them to your channel......as it seems you have travelled the bare minimum of distance from home to a decent mark. "Steve, where in NI is good to fish?" "Norway" :D
Hi. You will find good fishing in Norway from the very South, to the very North. If you are looking for exact spots, that is not possible, because of the time it would take for me to explain. If you would like me to guide for you, I might be guiding next autumn. This information will be uploaded in the form of a video, hopefully this January. Thanks Brother 👌
Thanks Billy. More stunning scenery and some great fish as well. As for the "Billy jokes", keep them going. You make me smile when I am finding less and less to smile about. Thanks 👍🏾
Hi Garrie. I'm glad I can make you smile sometimes! Thanks, hang in there brother 💪🙂
Nice work Billy, some nice little marks there , the little wooden staging with the seat was a bit of me 😂 absolutely stunning place , appreciated brother 🎣🤘🏼

Hi Earl. Thanks for the reminder! I put it in the description now. Tight lines 👌
i feel the taps and speed up at times and tht gets me a good hook up
You might find if you feel a tap, stop winding altogether. And this usually gets you the bite. Thanks Brother 😁👌
yo billy when u say there something on it did u feel a wee tap when u thought thre was a fish on it
Hi bud. When I say that, yes because the lord gets a push! And instead of feeling resistance, the lore becomes weightless. 👌

Sorry, but I make them myself! Thanks Brother 😁👌

How delayed are your videos getting uploaded to when they were actually shot?
Depends on what life throws at me!
Normally they go up on a week by week basis. But recently there has been rather a lot of storms and other things going on in my life so everything has fallen out a sequence.
The question is would you like el gaffo piercing your soft spots 🤣🤣
Well Gerard! I am pretty sure the fish like it, because shortly after, them always join me for dinner 🤣👌
Amigo tienes enlaces de ese gancho para cojer los peces
Sorry! But no, I make them myself!
