Every single person at JALC is cool as hell
Thank you!
True fact❤
What a fabulous set of tools to make the clarinet speak. I could listen to these guys all night.
Eli that was nice how you broke the motif changes down step by step in each stage in the improvisation.
I learned more about how to play and use motifs from this short video
Than any other video I watched.
Evan Cristopher and Eli Yamin very cool and very pleasurable to hear you play
Jazz at Lincoln Center's JAZZ ACADEMY This is the best channel to learn jazz from New Orleans, I'm from Brazil and I'm learning to listen to the musicians.
Great video! Really informative, beautiful playing also.
Thank you JALC for these videos

I love this😂 it's also kinda funny how it's scripted like this
That was super helpful! Thank you guys!

Evan i learn a lot from your lessons. I am a clarinet player with a long period of playing from sheets. I prefere more and more improvise on mine clarinet.
What a magnificent tone you have although I never been a fan of Clarinette. Back in the 50’s
Good stuff guys....
Oh yeah! If we consider a motive as a musical word, then it is natural to combine spoken language with performed musical language; how it comes together in playing the talking drum djembe.
