    I love seeing you guys have SO much fun jamming, while integrating (usually dry) music theory education. Such a tricky balance to achieve, and y'all have hit the SWEET SPOT.

    As well as playing the clarinet beautifully, Mr Christopher also has the most soothing and mellow voice!

    This is one of the best channels on RUclips, from the experience and talent being displayed and very well taught to the amazing production quality, I'm surprised this channel doesn't have more subscribers

    What style of clarinet does Evan Christopher have its beautiful?

    • @zvonimirtosic6171
      @zvonimirtosic6171 3 года назад

      It’s an older type of Albert system clarinet, with a decent bore size. Clarinets with fewer keys and fewer rings work better for jazz because fingers slide more smoothly between holes and the keywork doesn’t rattle. Also a clarinet with a larger bore size commands more presence, more nuances are possible especially for bending notes, and has a fuller sound.

    • @jeffreyhodes
      @jeffreyhodes 7 лет назад +2

      yeah. it's easier to do some of the slidey stuff on his clarinet (Albert system) because there are fewer keys.
