if you're curious how old Monica is (or any of the City folk) you can see their ages in the affinity chart. There's also inscriptions on the founder statues you can read if you go back there.
I would guess that Joran based his carving of himself off of a consul he saw since we know for sure he's seen at least one of them during the homecoming flashback during the first chapter. Consuls are these big important figures in their culture and Joran, who has so little self esteem, probably had a wish to be like them - someone who was important and respected.
I like that moment between Mio and Lanz a lot, it's one of the few moments those character's spend 1 on 1 with each other so it just sticks out in my memory a bit more because of that. I love that in the course of 2 months Lanz has gone from hating the idea of traveling with anyone from Agnis to Mio's presumably Agnian style soup being a highlight of his day. The writers really did a great job of making that character growth feel earned and natural while a lot of media would have a direct comment pointing out "wow you've changed!" but most of the time XB3 will have those little moments and respect the player to make note of it without feeling the need to point it out.

Ohhh! I didn't realize that, thank you!

Oh that makes a lot of sense!

Lanz has had some tremendous growth throughout the game. I'm so proud of him ;_;
