Love your results! My hair is a bit less dense, so I rock with a braid out, and probably because I lack the desire to do small individual twists😂. The curl pattern ends up looking like my wash n go, so I forgo these, but I do love the look of it!

Loved this omg and love your hair you made me want to do a twist out. When you laid your edges, for the flyaways on top maybe you could’ve applied a bit of gel and smoothed it over the top and then quickly laid a Durag over the top and dry it that way the top would be defined and still twist out shaped no flyaways. I noticed you brushed the top after that’s why I suggested😅

I've never done a braid or twist out before (too lazy lol) nor a wng for that matter (hair still very short so I just wear curly clip in extensions) so I'm just curious...what is the benefit or advantage to doing a twist or braid out in your case when your own natural curls pretty much look like that and take way less time in a wng?

I felt that heavy. Twists outs give a more “loose curl look” braid outs give a more “wavy look” also both of these styles provide more stretch versus a wash and go where you’ll have more shrinkage. Yes braid outs and twists outs take more time which is why I’d prefer a wash and go. For me honestly if I’m going to do a braid out or twist out it’s simply because I want to switch the style up (and I don’t mind taking that extra time) the only extra advantage is being able to use less heat when stretching those styles because they already initially provide stretch. It’s really just about preference but wash and gos are 100% my go to💕
