DC2 is widely-known as THE best handling FF car, right? DC5 is an evolution of that. Far better chassis rigidity and engine design BUT at a cost of front suspension design. Honda went from F1-derived double-wishbones found on DC2 (and other '90s Hondas, which is why it made them great cars in the first place) to MacPherson struts, but even then FD2 which shares the SAME suspension design geometry with DC5 was able to lap Suzuka Circuit faster than NA1, BNR34, FD3S, and even a certain Ferrari.
FD2 has improved front suspension actually (even FN2 too), I think the EP3 and DC5 use the "minivan" steering rack with flawed geometry (a Honda cost cutting measure when designing that generation) which is a bit of a problem.
Thanks for the upload! As expected, Tsuchiya drove great. That EK9 executed a nice pass on that hairpin. And who is that girl? Never seen her before, she doesn't look half bad. ;)
Thx for the feedback ;-) Still have the stock suspension and I can enjoy it on trackdays. It gives good feedback and neutral steering. (check my channel, if you like)
DC5 is known for the best handling type R in history. Itz so natural that it won.
lol the DC5 won because he's the only driver that didn't fuck up :)
still love it though
The DC5 is superior to both cars. It would 'win' in most situations

VTEC Kicked in Yo !
EP3 is "forgotten generation" in the Honda world.
I like the old type R tachometer's with a black back-round
Just bought a dc2 type r , love it
love it
I love them cars so much
2:30
"MAHSAY. SREEDUP BATU." LOL
.....in the end now matter how greatly tuned your car is, it still depends on the driver lol
geez. that thing revs to 9000
Actually, it's one of the best.
No problem. I'm still learning myself.
Tsuchiya is one of the best drivers of all time
Styling, power-to-weight ratio...just to name a couple. It was a step down from the EM1/EK9 chassis.
1:17 vtec kicked in!
I hope they had a good laugh designing the decal graphics for the dc5

@Vonjonster yes Js racing
Better chassis rigidity is about the only good thing about EP3s, or newer Hondas for that matter.
mmm i think the EK9 Driver gives so much Steering on low turns..
i love...............
Casually revving it out to 9,500 before changing gears..
The Dc2 was shifting wayy to early. wasnt pushing it at all??
Thx for the feedback ;-)

Honda
Too bad there's no EP3! There's only 1 clip maybe with an EP3 :-(
omg *pouts* god I want an integra so bad. DC2 FTW. Id pick a supra over a teggy but im more likely to get a teggy than a supra, soo... yeah.
why? Didn't the ek9 have the best lap time w about 2-3 seconds. On the track 2-3 seconds is a lot.
too much under steer on the ek9?
yeah at 5:44 it's 9,5k
CIVIC FOR LIFE xD
i wish i knew what they were saying
Dc5 is the best. Stop
ホホン?
They wouldn't be using ep3's they would be using ep9's
maskman
This is not fair
:-(
Still, I wonder why!
I did a photoshoot with the Blue DC2 last year
Check it out on nightimport website the owner lives about 2 minutes away from me
Integer driver could have driven better, he was not pushing it as hard as the others, seems like he crapped himself when he went off.
Dc2 shoulda won.

Sorry,dc5 is not the best handling type r in history, but dc2 does
Maybe not in history However, the DC5 was built for a purpose, to be surperior to the previous DC2. Which it is. In every way.
have you ever ridden
dc2 driver doesn't know when to shift :(
woo dc5 win
