But I imagine there are plenty of things that could carry over Think how DMC1’s light novel had a lot of things used for the main canon but dropped plot points that wouldn’t fit like Gilver

That was awesome. The only missing part was seeing the Samurai Shodown warriors appearing at the end...yeah the finale of the manga felt rushed. I really wanted to see the fight of the Women Team against the Fatal Fury Team 😢
