- In September of 1982, around 50 mountaineers from a Kazakh sports club set up a base camp in the Sairam Su gorge located in South Kazakhstan. During one of their training hikes, a group of five athletes from Karaganda did not return to the base camp when it was already dark, later three of them would be found frozen on the slopes but the fate of other two still remains unknown...

As far as ruling out a fall because of not hearing screams, don't forget that nothing muffles sound like snow. You can't hear anyone yell or scream in a snowstorm unless they are very close. Between the howling wind and the ability of snow to cancel out sound in a short distance it could be doubtful that you'd hear anyone yell at all. Love your videos, BTW definitely subscribed.
Actually smoke muffles best.
@@katedaphne4495really? Why is that?
Snow insulates against sound so well that there are many railroad deaths where people are walking on RR tracks in the winter and do not hear trains coming from behind them.
Yeah that didn’t make any sense. Someone can fall right next to people without it being noticed.
@@WhyusemynameI seen a video where a climber said he reached a summit and turned around and his partners who were literally feet behind him were like halfway down the mountain after a avalanche broke just behind him and he heard nothing
Fortuna should have gone back to camp with his team when he saw the flare. They would have survived had that happened. A lapse in judgment of the weather can causse deaths in any mountain and they should have known that by the way they were dressed for summer.
Maybe they didn't see the flare because of the weather, but still, they didn't turn back when the temperature had gotten too cold for them
Fortune was not on the side of Fortuna that fateful day.
Vodka.
@@phillipproussier3723c'mon he's literaly dead, could you at least make no jokes about his name?
@@lippesamsung8878 Is there someone who is going to live forever?
You did an excellent job with this story.
He should upgrade his mic. Its too bassy and not audible
What a tragic case. They should have all gone back when the weather broke. Like so many inherently dangerous outdoor activities, it is always better to be safe than dead. You can try again next year, but only if you survive this year.
I never could understand the mindset of a hiker and a climber that they always put themselves in danger. 🤷🏽♂️
true.. and they put the rescuers in danger as well. @@charlesdial7152
@@charlesdial7152you put yourself in danger everyday and probably don’t realize it. The key is doing things safely to avoid that danger. That’s what hikers and climbers do. When they don’t, they pay the price
If you had a life, instead of just watching other people live their lives on the internet your opinion would be worth a isht.
@@johnwayne3085 People could say the same about you, buddy. You can't even think of an original name to use online. Now get off yer horse and drink yer milk.
The area the 3 were found reminds me of the ridgeline of the President peaks in New Hampshire. It's an area known for unpredictable weather and high winds, and it's not even 2km in height. It makes me wonder if conditions were right to where the missing climbers were literally blown off the mountain (updraft from a squal or a snow whirl) and carried unusually far? Their remains could very well have been deposited in the treetops of the forest below or even on another nearby mountain. The biggest tell for me is the low temperatures and flashing lights. Whirls/devils/tornados cause a lot of particles to rub against each other causing electrical discharges. During the dust bowl of the 1920's and 1930's the constant barrage of sand striking made fences glow. Same thing can occur in cold dry environments. There's a well known case of climbers in Colorado reaching the peak of a mountain and experiencing st Elmo's fire emanating from their finger tips. If the lights seen around the mountain in this video are caused by the weather then there can be no doubt that turbulent wind was occurring there.
Mr Store, I don't understand
Beautiful graphics!!! It's almost like being there!
I suppose they went up to the peak with Fortuna, and while Fortuna returned to the two others, they went on, probably trying to meet the other group or going back to camp on the shorter route and then got lost somewhere on the way there.
Seems strange that unpredicted weather fronts play roles in lots of missing mountaineers..
That statement is kinda like “seems strange that lots of people drown during tsunamis”
I love your channel. I always look forward to your new videos ❤
easy to explain what the problem was: they went hiking. in kazakhstan. after seeing merked cows on the road. whose whole existence is to live there and not die
Yes!
Best, most underapreciated coment thus far!
People need to learn when and when not to push their limits. Every tragic story I’ve read off or learned about it’s always because someone tried pushing beyond their means. I’m sorry for those who had to experience the loos of their loved one especially the children.
No hat gloves a trinket. Smells like alien abductions
Good video. I'd not heard of this story before.
The first 9 minutes of this video basically explains what happened. Sudden Change in weather, hypothermia, death. This was a tragic accident. Nothing more. There are thousands of cases where remains could not be recovered in mountain accidents
My first thought when I notice my food is missing is that somebody had stolen it not that BigFoot had devour my breakfast.
I can hear @misstika as the female voice for this video! and the male voice appearing in her videos is the main narrator here. That's a nice expansion of duo work
This is so informative! Great job, fantastic reporting!🌻🌼🐝 Keep it up 🙌
Fantastic video as always!
You put out great stories . Never disappointed. Thanks
Hypothermia is no joke.

Great video 😁👍
How do you go from something ate the meat in your bag without damaging the bag or the bones and leaving them there(which suggests the creature sat right there and dined) to something lives here that could eat two bodies and leave no trace?
If the creature was careful enough to just go for the meat it wanted, that possibly means it could be careful enough to kill the both hikers, feed of their flesh and then hide or bury their clothes, their belongins and anything of their corpses that might have been left uneaten, in order not to be found by humans who would eventually, come looking for them. The only condition is, the creature must be big, strong and inteligent enough to kill two human beens and understand the need to hide/bury whatever is left of'em not to have its existence disturbed.
@@lippesamsung8878 Okay. Except, the creature left a trace. It left the bones and the bag untorn. So, it isn't careful enough to leave no trace which suggests it would leave the bones of the hikers and their untorn clothes...
The flashes of lights observed on the mountains are very intriguing

Better to have and not need than need and not have. Very wise words. I've spent extended time in the desert and you wouldn't believe how cold it gets at night. If you don't have cold weather gear it's a huge problem. Extra weight or 💀
Absolutely. "Be Prepared" isn't just a slogan. The modern "minimalist" hiking style -- "hiking boots" that are basically hi-top sneakers, a candy bar and a quart of water is dangerous.
My dad was in North Africa during WW2,, and said the same thing you did about the desert being cold at night
I had heard that it was cold at night in the desert but until you experience it. You can't quite wrap your head around it.
You never know what is up ahead. A person can prepare for certain things but not all of them.
Very sad leaving a pregnant wife behind 😢
Great video, interesting content ,just a question,,what country is the narrator from
Instant click and thumbs up 👍
Please master your content, the volume jumping up and down makes it hard to follow as I have to keep turning it up and then down.
Fortune was not on the side of Fortuna that fateful day.
Fortune may favor the bold, but sometimes "bold" becomes "foolish".
I've been looking for a new channel to compete with beyond creepy and Preston Dennett encounter videos. I hope you upload consistently on such cases

Yup… so are the betrayed.

I skimmed through this video but it reminds me of the dyatlov pass incident
Man, that ain't my kind of Sports club.
" Disappearing into thin air " well ..they were in the mountains!
It's called not having the proper equipment. Webster's Dictionary calls on amateurs
I’ve done quite a lot of hunting above the snowline. There’s lots of places you could take a fall and never be discovered. These people were suffering from hypothermia and irrational and could have wandered off anywhere. Pretty sure the steep slopes there would not have been possible to search effectively. There’s no real mystery here - people die in the wilderness all the time and it’s often just pure luck if they’re ever found.
It's astonishing how grief can push otherwise rational people into completely nonsensical superstitions.
Terrible tragedy. Your story was new to me and very enjoyable.
I have a question. Since the party was tied together by a rope and the lead unlatched himself away to seek help. What happened to the rope connection to those two missing?
i love your videos ❤️ it’s makes my week 🩷
Just how many of these Soviet climbing groups have died mysteriously?
Some people who perceive themselves to be superhuman, find to their cost that they are not when the circumstances change. I feel sorry for the people left behind. Good video.
like when the 9 foot man reveals himself to you..
Is it me or are two guys taking a leak at 2:37?
Can anyone cite an original article to this incident, I can not seem to find any information aside from a couple RUclips videos?
Same I found this from TikTok and they even named the mountain wrong can’t even find anything on Reddit
@ArchiesArchive, can you help me out here!?
As a rule doing what's right can be immensely challenging believe that Pilgrims.
Interesting. I have never heard of this case before now.
Success being measured by achieving the peak or the destination is such a powerful thing. It’s bloody hard to turn back even in shit weather. We get super focused and think it can’t happen to us.
They fell into one of many creavesses. End of story. Nothing paranormal, nothing unusal.
But the meat
It's always the most beautiful looking places in the world which are also the most dangerous.
I suppose their beauty puts too many in an off guard mentality as to the dangers?
How many people return from the mountains? Watching your channel it seems like most of them never come back.
is it just me or is the volume of the video constantly changing from scene to scene?
Definitely aliens, everything is aliens.
U are right about that, but I don't understand there mindset.💔❤️🩹🖤💥💯.
As far as the rogue weather coming in, this is exactly precisely what David Paulides talks about in his books and documentaries, I'm almost speechless right now.
Yep sounds like another tragedy kinda like the dyotlov pass they were running from something its funny tho cause back at the dyotlov tragedy just one thing the tent was cut with a knife either they hurd something comeing or peaked out f the tent or something or someones were blocking the openingnto the tent and bullets were not found in the bodys know any caseings so someone's or something got midevil on them and one more thing if it were the military why dd the others get found by a tree frozen u would think there would be a thuro search to make sure the job was done and leave no witneses also they were fund pretty much naked so mystery cover up or something there so out there russian military couldnt contain there last picture was a circular bright light bizzar
Not a lot of mystery involved here....
Something dies in this mountain!
I've seen many mountain disaster videos, people can disappear in a instant, some are found early some years some never, high altitude and hypothermia have caused people to take clothes off because they think they are hot, one person said the night before her rescue she traded her boots for a cup of tea and woke up with he boots off strange stuff happens all the time without the boogeyman
It's definitely aliens. Source: trust me bro
disrespectful to bigfoot tbh
😂
Agree. Alien bigfoots.
But it is a great scenario for SF movie!

Why would the second missing set have unhooked themselves from the tandem? If mountaineering rules have been explained correctly on this channel's other videos, the two men bringing up the rear were stronger than the two found near Alexander. Theoretically, they could have made it somewhere, but why no contact unless they murdered people, were in love with each other, or a crazy reason.🤔
Maybe just irrational from the cold.
@@scallopohare9431 That's a good reason.
Boris and Natasha? Really dude, come on now.
Taken out by the CIA's most talented assassins-- Rocky and Bullwinkle.
I don't feel sorry for any of them. If they were going up there for something like gold or artifacts it would be different but they went just to be going. Leave them where they fell.
Dyatlov Pass, anyone ?
Never turn your back on mother earth.
The climbers are still there somewhere, they just have not found them yet.
Follow the smell in the warm season... might work.
Rather freeze than ruin your Karma..

Fortuna not so much.
Natasha and Boris. Not funny but LOL on Bullwinkle.
I've said it before and ill say it again,
This place we call home is anything but, we are at the mercy of a devious higher intelligence that thrives simultaneously from our ignorance and curiosity, as like cows on a ranch, we can be quietly plucked from the herd for slaughter never to be seen again.

The “psychics and shamans” quote is a dead giveaway that this is pure fiction
Psychics and Shamans didn’t exist in the Soviet Union.
This is a very bad anachronism. I actually thought this was a real account but it’s just a work of fiction.

Dang space aliens need to stop doing this....

I definitely think they got lost/fell/died somewhere on that mountain that day. OR the mysterious stomping around the campsite and ram eating was them. They were secretly in love with each other but were oppressed and they decided to go live together on the mountain forever. But probably the first one
