Amazing video Levi ! I love your videos I don't know what it is about watching you snipe for Gold but it's just totally relaxing and frees up your mind. I wish you could make longer videos I could watch you every day. There is no gold where I live if it was I would try sniping myself. LoL 😂 I want to wish you and your family a Happy Easter 🙏May God Bless You All 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Keep up the awesome work Levi.
Levi I can honestly say you deserve every single piece of gold you find the effort you put in to finding your way through ankle breaking terrain to get to your location pushing your body and mind onwards never mind filming on the way this one of my favourite channels ever take a bow young Levi all the best from Scotland 🏴
Love your Video's. Here's some tips for food. Precook a meal vacuum pack (Invest in one if you haven't got one) and heat and eat. When you find a camp spot put your vac pack meals in the water to keep cold. Beef stew, chicken curry or couple of snags in gravy and peas, take powered potato flakes and mix with powdered milk and a knob of butter, add not water for mash potato.
Levi, as an amateur prospector living in the northeastern USA, I enjoy watching A LOT of gold prospecting videos from around the world. It seems to me that you are a very lucky man indeed to live and prospect in such a beautiful and gold rich part of the planet. Your success is phenomenal! Of course your work ethic, determination, and skill might just have a bit to do with that...................LOL!!!
Wicked haul Levi. You should grab a magnet and Grab up all of the black sand it’s Ferris metal that will pop right out of that pile. You might pick up a few flakes of gold but can separate those faster from the sand. Good show mate.
We had a super Easter in Monaco and now we are back in the UK. Isn't it a blast when you finally find a nice fat gold picker? Makes all the hard work crevicing worthwhile. We so love your vids, like accompanying you since we've been down with covid. I'm saving gemstones, silver, minerals and gold kin the few excellent save-worthy vids, and you have come out tops every time! ...Now, for the last 20 months I've been learning blacksmithing, so was very interested seeing your new crevicing tool! I made my daughter and I a crevicing tool each out of VG 10 originating from Japan with a Rockwell Hardness between 57 and 60 HRC. Like yours, the tips on ours I ground to a fine edge, acts like a chisel which slices through decomposing bedrock like butter. Thank you so much for this wonderful vid. We were with you all along the way. Your hoard was amazing: nearly 1 oz Best always and stay safe -Wendi and Molly (Edited to add)
Phenomenal work Levi. It's the northern hemisphere's turn for fair weather and sniping. Love the geology of this area you are in, reminds me of my favourite creeks in Canada. Take care out there and looking forward to seeing more of your adventures.
@@officialtassieboysprospecting If you would ever want to sell any of the gold you find i am sure there are plenty people who would jump at the opportunity! Also can make a pretty good living marking them up !
Also get yourself some 35 micron filter mesh. It will let you get rid of most of the sand. The filter mesh is used in reusable (cleanable) engine oil filters.
Happy Easter buddy! Wow! You blow me away every time Levi! I swear its like a dream watching these videos! Thats just crazy! Thanks for sharing! God bless my friend!
It's so cool just how different these two types of Gold are. One's paper thin... but it's seems like there's such an abundance of it that it adds up surprisingly fast. The other is simply beautiful.... Well done mate,..cheers
Levi, you hike farther through untamed wilderness schlepping heavy gear than any of the RUclipsrs that I watch. I love to see your efforts rewarded by finding lots and lots of beautiful gold! I also love when you take your family along too! Great time with the wife & kids, making memories that will last a lifetime!
Awesome trip and video again Levi you can remove the black sand in minutes if you put the fine gold on a sheet paper move the paper back and forth while gently blowing with your mouth it saves a lot of time compared to panning. You can also use a magnet. Thank you as always your awesome.
@@officialtassieboysprospecting I have working hard at uping my game on videos too. You have always done good. But I see a concerted effort succeeding.

BRO, those cloud rainforest drone shots in the beginning that you slowed down are sick! Amazing job on this one for real, highly impressed, and the music is all time! Amazing clean up, this could literally be a full time job. You are a beats brother, hope to make it there one day to visit. I think that day is near!
I gave this a like as soon as I hit play, your videos are the best Levi. You make all of us think we could be sniping Gold right there along side of you. Take care brother!
A suction pump and a dredge would do one hell of a job in this terrain - probably 10x the yield you are showing in your video. what you got there under water is a mother-load.
I’ve only watched 4 videos now but I just want to say thanks for the great entertainment and beautiful shots. So inspiring. Keep up the great work and most importantly keep having fun.
Another great video Levi. I look forward to seeing each trip you make, and the amount of gold your finding is getting bigger and bigger. All found through lots of hard work and a skilled hand. Well done you 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Levi, of all the gold prospecting channels I follow, yours is some of, if not THE best content. Footage, editing, story, scenery and narration are all top notch. And that's before we get to the gold! I know you're not keen on Patreon but I'd love to support you and pay back what I feel I owe you for letting us all join in on your wonderful adventures. Dunno if your of the same opinion Levi, but I reckon that gold is actually shedding from the ribbons of decomposing quartz - rather than “getting trapped in there” on its way down river per se. I suggest that band of quartz is actually the “reef” itself. Geologically, when lava flows the geanit component solidifies as it cools at a higher temp than the quartz containing sulphides and gold does, so the sulphides and gold gets precipitated into the quartz bands that solidify last. This is why most (but not all) gold is usually associated with quartz reefs, the gold shedding from source quartz as it decomposes / eroded away. So if those quartz bands travel beyond the river bed on either side into the host rock, they could actually be worth pegging a lease and hard rock mining at some point in the future (like when your old and too decrepit to keep swimming in snow Fed rivers). Maybe just peg the leases, drill them and sell the leases to a mining company as your superannuation fund? Just what I would do if it were me and I was 30 years younger. I still think you should test out / explore Brumbys creek up at the Little Den in the tiers above Poatina. From memory there’s a hut up there that the Spencer’s from Woolmore at Cressy own that owner Robbie Spencer might let you borrow to sleep in. Tell him Doey Lowy from WA sent you to ask permission. I once hunted Fallow deer up at Little Den with Robbie back in a previous life when his mum & Dad Ernie & Margaret Spencer were still alive and farming Woolmore. Well known Tassie Trout fisherwoman Jan Spencer was their daughter / Robbie’s sister. Just looking at the Geology of the headwaters of Brumby Creek up at the little den, I reckon it’s got to be worth a look at least. I didn’t get the chance to pan it while there but did spend a few minutes on the creek with Robbie fly fishing for brown trout. Probably wouldn’t go up there during the deer season tho, gets pretty busy on weekends. Should try & get you and your lad over here to WA and go try sniping the Blackwood river, Barlee Brook, & Donnelly river at all the rock bars / water falls. I used to guide fly fishing tours in the area back when I was the local forest ranger & wildlife officer for the area. Probably won’t find as chunky pieces as what you do in Tassie, might be a lot finer & the water is a lot more tannin stained than some of the clear streams you tend to film in.
Wow! After spending 3 days over Easter panning for a few specks of flower gold in NSW I’m literally oozing with envy🥴. Well done tho Levi, what a dream spot you found!
Hello Levi, gold should be coming from under ground thru a volcano. Try looking for near the possible volcano, or the highest altitude where the river flows at. Better chance to find bigger nuggets. And bigger nuggets won't need a bed rock to be trapped against. Try digging anywhere in the river. Side note: I'm not a geologist or gold miner. Never been. Just throwing some ideas. I wish I could join you. Greetings from Azerbaijan.

Thousands of sucks with the sniffer! Killer days! We call it flood gold when it is found up in a clay layer, often with little on the bedrock, meaning it has been deposited in a storm since the ground was originally worked.
