The bass guitar is what i cant help but fixate on in this. I love that you can pick out everything pretty much at any time, everybody playing at their absolute best.
Absolutely do more of these guys, their discography is small but frankly not a single miss to be found. Their new album exul is quite honestly my AOTY so far, it’s incredible and they have 2 great music videos for it.
Oh, yes! One of my favorite bands. This could be a whole rabbit hole on its own. Writing this in advance not even knowing if you liked them yet.
Had the pleasure of seeing them live in april. Freakishly amazing. Xen on harsh vocals is my one and only man crush, ridiculously handsome and absolutely owns that stage (though he were absent on this tour for personal reasons). Tim, clean vocals and violin, might be the nicest person ever. Seems to always be smiling. Martino is a beast on that bass.
I'm gonna stop rambling and watch the video now.
DEVOUR ME COLOSSUS 🌀🌀🌀🙏🙏🙏✊✊✊
Citadel yes!!! But that one most of all, even more than Painters of the Tempest.
I love how Tim (the violinist) is such a hype man while the Xen (the harsh vocalist) was looking very broody and serious. I LOVE the contrast.
"That fiddle dude probably got laid that night" bro that came out of nowhere with the wides swing imaginable. im crying xD
After leaving your channel in protest and checking out the song in it's entirety I have come back to apologize and continue watching your reaction😮 I approve❤
Amazing reaction, thank you! Please do Devour Me Colossus, studio version. It is PHENOMENAL. Cheers
11:00 from what I've heard, proper technique uses the false chords not you actual vocal chords which and doesn't strain them as just screaming does. But I am by no means an expert on that
Their whole discography is just as impressive as this song, I heavily encourage you to listen to more of their music.
They released their 4th album a few months ago, it's a masterpiece. My favourite is Misericorde I & II
The drumming on Suspyre from Exul is beyond masterful, check it. I also love how this band makes sure the base gets noticed, because it deserves to. Loved your intro! Good job man and great to see one of my favorite bands get more love. Everyone watching this started head banging at the same time.
Another great Melbourne band! Saw them back in 2018 when Allegaeon, Rivers of Nihil and Beyond Creation came over and opened for them.
Be'Lakor is another great Melodic Death metal band from Melbourne to check out
I was at the same show😂. Also saw be'lakor last year. Great recommendation
@@amarok9097 I saw Be'Lakor on their Vessels tour in 2016, might go to their return to Melbourne show in a couple of months too!
@@dragon13304
I may well see you there
From Jethro Tull to Ne Obliviscaris. Love your work.
As recommended above Be'lakor
My friend opened for them in February. They were legit so clean
Warning😮 I am demonetizing this commeant due to a lack of professionalism during the intro😊❤
most metal singers are not as loud as you would think. some of the growls are more bass in nature so a muted sound.
Gotta love a 5 string headless bass...
