I simply love Ali Hazelwood and I’m not ashamed of it!! She always manages to make me smile, giggle and kick my feet… also am super excited for business casual!!
@@Xx_Obsidian_Tears_xX I feel like she’s got a general framework for her books that just works for me lol but I can see why others don’t enjoy them if that makes sense
Every book in the Lovelight Farms series has just been so great that Business Casual has got me really excited! Nova is such a fun character and having her at the center of a story should be fun!!!
I really hope you'll like Words of Radiance, it's my favorite in the series! Also yay for Maxton Hall getting so much international attention, German shows aren't usually that succesful lol
As a rabid Ali Hazelwood stan, Not in Love is definitely my top book of the year so far. Love, Theoretically is also up there (i was late to the party on that one). I will devour anything that woman puts in front of me 🤭
i'm so curious about your thoughts on all the light we cannot see because i TRULY don't understand the hype, i thought it was so boring. just started the netflix adaptation and hopefully it's better
Honestly I read TLH back when it was still just a fanfic and a) it was great even pre-publishing edit and b) I’m not ashamed to say that I still greatly enjoy Ali Hazelwood. Sometimes I want the books I read to hit like a really great AU fic (without actually reading fanfic) and she nails that for me. The only book of hers that I’ve picked up and had trouble with is Love on the Brain and that’s purely because I went to Pitt so having it referenced in anything fictional completely throws me out of the story 😂 Also agreed re: the special editions. I went on a bit of a (pandemic-mental-health-spiral-induced) binge of buying them in 2021/2022 and it was so. much. money and I lowkey regret it deeply. I’ve bought some since then but those have exclusively been books that I’ve already read and adore (and have destroyed prior copies of via repeated rereading, like The Old Kingdom series by Garth Nix). I’m not sure I’ll even end up reading my Old Kingdom special editions because I have a brand new set of paperbacks too lol but I love them so much that I don’t mind keeping those as a display piece more than anything.
Alright..... I am OBSSESSED with Falls Boys! One of my top favorite books in the last couple years. I was so excited for Pirate Girls because of that alone.... and it completely let me down. The pacing, the incest, the obscure secondary characters that provide nothing to the plot... I really couldn't ever tell what the goal of the story was or what direction we were heading in, and not in a good, fun, spontaneous way. More in like a what the fuck are you talking about and why should I care kind of way. Really really depressing because Penelope Douglas doesn't usually let me down and I had really high hopes. And also WHYYY DOES EVERY BOOK HAVE INCEST NOWADAYS HELLO??? WHY IS THIS BECOMING NORMALIZED???
@@chandlerainsley I'm very interested to hear your opinion on it because I can't tell if I'm crazy or not. I haven't heard any other opinions on the book and I'm shocked because what the fuck was going on???? lmao
Really? I am literally in love with Pirate Girls. One of my favorite book of the year. And what incest? There is literally none. They aren't actually cousins

Ali hazelwood is everything to me. she has found a formula that really works. love that for her and also for me lmao
The hair is givingggg. You look so good girl. Healing era for sure 🫶🏻😘
Honestly completely agree re Ali hazelwood! Whenever I enjoy/love another one of her books I’m like am I just basic ?? 😂
maybe. theres nothing wrong with being basic tho

As much as I love your super info packed videos, I really love this casual sit down too. A fun change of pace ❤

The audio book for All the Light We Cannot See is really good!
Finished the Fake Out last night and loved it! Just For The Summer is my favorite too though, and I’m already re-reading it!! Lol
Great video ❤. Sabaa Tahir and Liz Tomforde are two authors that I started reading for the first time this year, and they're now two of my favorites.
Maxton Hall is in fact SO good. I saw the hype, I gave into the hype and I was not disappointed
Best - Just for the Summer, Firekeeper’s Daughter, Funny Story, The Paradise Problem
Worst - What If It’s Us, Change of Heart by Kate Canterbary
I finished My Season of Scandal last night & I immediately started re-reading my favourite parts. This book was amazing.
I think the reason why the questions aren’t the same for everyone is because the tag is so old, and people changed them over time.
I just bought a copy of the familiar! I’m so excited to read it!
your necklace stack is sooo cute!
thank you!!
