I'm still catching up on things. but some tips I have from my time playing- Talk to the store manager in every store. You'll get their phone number, and then (for a hefty fee) you can order things to be delivered instead of going in person to pick things up. I hate driving, so I use this quite often. xD Also- if you have a shop that is doing well, expand their working hours! add more employees to cover more shifts and keep making money! :D
I have a theory that your fast food business just needed more than one register. Even though your traffic score at the old location was low, when you actually watched the restaurant for a day you had a line of people out the door all the way until close. Your cashier literally couldn't keep up with orders for the small amount of foot traffic you had. You're definitely on the right track with needing higher sales volume, quantity is crucial since food is a low-dollar item in this game. But think of it this way: if your local McDonald's only had one dude working there who had to run the drive thru, the front registers, the burger station (and hotdog and donut stations in your case) all by himself, it's gonna take a while to get your order right? (unless it's a fancy automated store lol) Just my observation, but regardless, you've definitely got me excited to play the game for myself when it comes out so I can experiment lol
I def made this comment *before* you swapped to a coffee shop, but I would guess it still applies? Also, the coffee machine was like hella expensive, right? Not all the way thru the episode yet, waiting to see if that becomes an issue 😅
long time no chat sir! im sure you figured it out by now because im way behind but ive found with a small shop, part time cleaners are amazing. can work them 3 hours a day at the end of the business day for 6 days a week and with good skills its spotless and saves a bunch of money
At first i pronounced your channel name as "konz", then i heard you pronouncing it as "canz" and i was so confused. Glad to know i wasnt crazy, and it was actually intended to be pronounced the first way. 😂

not sure if you figure this out eventually- but you have to snap the chair to the desk (the desk will turn blue when you do it right)

I have assigned my employees to 1 hour cleaning after their shift. This way I don't have to running and cleaning myself :)
