When I saw the show of Tales of Us in New York, Allison explained that the story of this song is a woman in love with a serial killer. He falls in love with her and for that reason he lets her live. From this moment this song haunted me. It's a masterpiece of cinematic music.

This video ia a little different from the others. The previous videos portrayed slower movements and the character seemed to be more important in the video. On this one, the actions and the scenery seem more important and I felt it a little off from my first impression of Tales of Us. Even though the name of the album makes me think it's about stories, the first four videos cared more about the characters behind them, also reinforced by the fact that the songs are named after the characters. It is a beautiful work, but I love more the first four videos.
I don't know, it is just that for some reason I could have an idea of what the characters in the other videos were feeling. I could see their problems and sort of how they behaved towards the problems. Then, I supposed that is the characteristic of Laurel after all, just keep moving. Maybe the video portrays her own characteristic of not willing to show her feelings. I don't know, it's fucked up
Ailton Sinézio I really love this video. Cinematography is top notch and just gorgeous! Well, if you look at the lyrics, the chorus talks about "here" so maybe the video got more involved with the scenery because of that. The "Laurel" sign at the beginning? Maybe the director wants us to think more of the place, Lauren Canyon than the song's character. Person or place, I love it anyway.
