Your videos are the highlight of my day. I live alone and lost the love of my life in 2019. It got to the point that I didn't leave my house and layed in bed all day. You inspired me to get up and start a garden, you and sweet Miah brought joy back to my life through gardening. I only have a few plants and hope to find scraps to build some beds. I just wanted to sincerely say thank you for saving me. You have no idea the joy you inspire and bring to our lives.
I just read your comment. I'm sorry for your loss. I too live alone. Disabled and very sick. The struggle is real. There is this song I listen to when I need lifted up. Maybe you might like it too. ( 10,000 reasons by Matt Redman ). God Bless. :)
Jess, it is with great joy that I get to "come along" on the journey that you and your family are on. I am also in the midst of a great change in my life. Thanks to you and "Sweet Miah" for sharing your lives. God bless!!!! ... P.S....I hope the woodchip guy is going to work out for you!!!!
"It is uncomfortable. It is okay to say that it is uncomfortable. To say that is all it would steal the joy of this season. This is a dream come true. This is an amazing season. We are loved, and supported, and it has been such a display of community even though it is uncomfortable." Thank you for this reminder. As school starts again, this was a helpful encouragement!
My motto is "it will be there tomorrow". How long have you been pushing? The push to get ready to move, the actual move and now unboxing your life out of cardboard boxes. It really can be overwhelming, but it can be as simple as what can I do today (realistically). It is not a race. Savor the possibilities of your new blank canvas. Just dream girl!
I love this!!! I mean absolutely and positively love this❣️ I definitely have missed y’all but more than anything go with this! So excited to have the privilege to tag along.
What Kathleen said, one day at a time is my motto, but I can agree with Kathleen. So glad you are a young couple with all the busyness and all. I'm older now and wish I had did more when I was younger with more energy.
@@tamararoberts9307 I'm 68 and wish I could stop the aging process as well. But watching a healthy couple in their prime "dreaming and making it happen" gives me such pleasure to watch.

Well said Kathleen. The only urgency in a move is beds to sleep in and a kitchen with enough equipment to cook and eat. The rest, just savor the setting up decisions and taking time to relax a look around to see it in your min's eye. Thank you for taking time to share and have a Blessed day.
I'm a 70-year-old lady in NH just so excited to watch your progress in this endeavor, be it giant leaps or baby steps. Such fun for me! You have re-ignited my passion for my own garden and have expanded it this year. Cheers to you all!
Linda G- I am a 71 year old farm wife in New Hampshire. Over all , we "New Hampshirites" are in a good place this summer. Vermont is 85% vaccinated and we are right behind them! Our working farm continues to shelter in place and sadly, we are shut down to the public at this time. Only selling hay to our customers. But you can get gardening! 🌱 Like Jess and her famrily, the world is at you feet, if you choose to pick up what interests you. I bought art supplies and we bought a sweet tear drop camper to get out in the fresh air. I hope Jess inspires you to live a life that follows your passions. We are hard working farmers and ALL of us are over 70! Jess's journey is a tribute to the younger generation and what can be accomplished. ~ Diane
Lana K- Thanks so much!- We continue to work, but I miss showing folks baby calves. The boy are out haying today and its hot! Hoping for things to improve this Autumn. I visited Las Cruces, NM many years ago and it was beautiful! Stayed at a B&B called Maison de Mesa
@@dianehall5345 I live near Albuquerque . So a ways away from Las Cruces. I've never been. Unfortunately a lot of crime and stuff down there now. It's sad. So you're a true homesteader? That's awesome! I just live vicariously through you all. Hehe. I have a raised garden that my husband built up for me in our backyard. Along with a memory garden that he built for me when my father passed away. Plus I'm growing in a few huge pots and grow bags. It's really hard to grow anything here because the soil is mostly sand and bark-like pieces. I've purchased big bags of garden and potting soil to mix in with my soil. It gets so hot here too of course. We are in the desert after all. I'm growing tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, peppers (a couple different kinds), carrots, zucchini, a lot of herbs and flowers. Take care and stay young at heart right? Hugs!! 🤗🤗🙏🙏💜💜🦋🦋.
Who’s living life through this family besides me? I’m 64 thinking how wonderful it’s going to be watching what’s in store! Love and blessings always 🙏🏽❤️
I’m 67 and have a garden. I’m in zone 3 so I’m slowly harvesting veggies and canning/ freezing what I can. I have a few Cornish cross meat birds along with two turkeys to harvest. First year with turkeys.
Those are the happiest animals I’ve ever seen! The piggies running with their ears flopping is SO precious!! 💜 My mama heart goes out to you with all the kids in school. My daughter starts kindergarten in just another week, and I’m trying to prepare for it. 😭 I’m with you…sometimes doing nothing is the best thing you can do! Enjoy that. You definitely deserve some time to just soak it all in and enjoy. 💜
I know something you don’t know !😁🎼💕 You had asked us if we wanted to come along to see the little details of what’s going on with you guys, even though it wasn’t your usual content of being in the gardens yet, and you were surprised at all the “yes please!!” answers. What you don’t realize is that when we all subscribed to your channel, it is because we all fell in love with you, Miah and the kids….not just the content . And because we love you, we’re interested in your life of details. You are one of a kind Jess, and even though you don’t know us…we love you. 💜
I've always told my kids who are now adults that it doesn't matter if you're a turtle or a rabbit, progress is progress. Taking time to rest is important and you should never feel you have to apologize for it.
Jess, get an invisible fence for the dogs. I think that's the name of it, what it is you bury a same cable in the ground where you want your dogs to only go and they wear something on their collar that gives them a little shock to tell them that they can only stay within the area you want them in. A lot cheaper and quicker then putting up a fence right now.
I homeschooled my children for 10 years and they both went to school starting in 7th and 10th. I was productive for a month and then I got really, really sad when the routine set in. It was a strange and unexpected time of emotion for me.
What a great idea to send your children to the local school. It is the best way for them to meet the local children under controlled circumstances. And you will get to meet the other parents. What a smart way of settling into the local community.
You have put down Roots and you have your Refuge...Can't get any better start than that.Great that the kids are in school. Every day while they are away , there will always be surprises to come home to. You will get lots of starter work accomplished with not so many little loves running around right now. Good days to you all.Amen...
Thank you for sharing your experience of a week of trying to be busy with things not working being a sign to get quiet and prayerful and reconnect with God. A wonderful reminder for us all! Many blessings for your family through this transition! ✨🙏✨
For the dogs you might consider training them to recall with a whistle, they are both so clever and will pick it up especially if given a special tasty reward. The whistle I recommend is the acme 211.5 dog whistle (get a lanyard to keep it on when hiking with them or to hang near the door)…teach them to recall with two quick toots followed up by tasty reward. The whistle is high pitched and carries quite a distance, even though the dog can hear your voice and calls well from a distance the unique sound of a whistle associated with treats is more likely to bring to him home quicker.
The one she recommended is a dog whistle, acme 211.5 is what she says. I believe I'm going to look into this for our 4 mo old Raegan, a Rottweiler/ Lab mix and 2 yr old Golden Retriever. We live in the city but I'm always afraid they'll get loose and not return right away. I'm happy for all of you! It's so nice to see you so happy, settling in!
@@RootsandRefugeFarm I was going to suggest same.... I would concentrate at least 10 minutes (time is valuable) with the dogs when there are no children around and use a dog whistle that you can temper the sound by screwing the top. Decide what the commands should be. I used one short blow as sit and be still and look at me (for hand signals/voice, like come here, lie down/stay), whatever you choose but don’t make it confusing. One long whistle , and I mean long, would mean I can’t find you but I’m coming, please stay where you are but please bark. Dunno, Jess. You’ve moved into a much larger property where your dogs and children are about to experience a more free environment. I taught my dog near and long distant hand and whistle commands because I needed to when riding on horseback. TBH, most well loved and trained dogs want to rely on new secure commands when they find themselves in a new, open environment that requires them to fulfill their natural protective role. When I took my dog (Welsh collie) to london to visit friends, I exercised him in the central london parks. Every dog owner wanted to know where I got the whistle. If it was now, I think the nutters would ask where I got the app from!!!😂😂😃
PS. Don’t ever tell the children what your whistle commands are. Bear is a family dog. Con is too, but not as clever as Bear. I taught my dog to learn commands from those that think they knew better - who, att, I was surrounded by. He obliged to keep them amused as and when he felt like it. The whistle and near/long hand/voice signals that allowed him hours of long distant fun, were mine and his. Oh.... and the horses I rode. They knew the dog came first. It was quite an amazing time, actually. The dog went forward and made safe “horse monsters”, flushed out deer (or lions if horses could cry wolf 😄) and men in white sport shoes... 😳, I’ve always believed dogs are happier “working” when they know they can rely on specific “safety” commands/signals from those they feel they ultimately protect. It’s reciprocally innate, IMHO
I am in a state of overwhelm just watching you. When you get things growing, homeostasis will kick in. Our love for the land is real and tangible. You need to mourn and move on. Mourn and move on. I have had to do this many times over the years. Cry and pick up. Days and months grow into seasons. The land will start to sing under your loving care, Jess and Miah. Hug each other. ❤️The best is yet to come!!
I remember sending my kiddo off to brick and mortar school after homeschooling. It was a wonderful choice and they are thriving, but it was such a bittersweet feeling in very intense ways. There's a sadness and grief inside that joy. Just wait until the next quarantine when they are home again, then you'll be like "there it is" lol. Much easier to send them back the second time around :) .
You & Jeremiah are such an inspiration to my husband (Jeremy lol) and I. We are buying our land in the next couple of years & all I talk about is how I can't wait to get our fruit trees in the ground (currently in containers) and our perennials as well. Everything is in pots except for our asparagus which I am now regretting cause I will definitely be digging those crowns up to take with us lol. Thanx for sharing your journey ☺️🌿
Jess, I sowed a seed in my neighborhood about how having a community garden would be beneficial to the youth that live here and to the adults who dream of a place to grow something. Now trying to find support from the community here to sow this seed. Hopefully this plan is viable. But I at least deared to dream out loud.
Oh, Amanda, that's great! I dream to do that as well :) I want to find ways to get older and younger people out there gardening in common green spaces; not sure how to do that yet but hoping to get there soon!
Amanda, about the community food garden Seattle Washington has already in function, so looking up their web page contact their folks could save you reinventing the wheel. Build on what works what didn't etc. They have gardens and food forests. Best blessings on this desire of your heart.
@@emalinel what inspired me to speak up about implementing change with the community. Instead of always complaints about what's wrong with. I really want our youth to get compliments about doing something good in the community. Some of these youths really could use a garden, Not judgement.
@@amandaforgie8047 I completely agree :) And there's something comforting about having someone older than you acknowledge your abilities when you're young. Really gives you the confidence to have that learning mindset whenever you hit a wall. I hope to build a sort of mentor ship program, where both young and old can learn together. There's not a lot of spaces where both young and old can talk + socialize freely in my community, but I think gardening is definitely one of them.
God has a knack for sitting us down on our buns when we really need to get still and regroup. Sometimes when busy work keeps us busy He needs us to be still to really get thru to us and keep us focused whe
I think it was two summers ago that I got on RUclips to learn how to grow tomatoes. And I came across you and you and your family has touched my heart I lost the love of my life 8 months ago and it’s been so hard. Lots of space there to just hang out and breathe. Watching slow progress in building a new homestead is Priceless. I am interested in all of it. The good, the bad and the ugly. Its real life. Take us along with the planting, the painting and the planning.
My daughter was homeschooled, we took a job at Six Paca Farm 13 years ago, to run a large alpaca farm… she really loved the idea of living on a farm… it meant that she would have to go to school, my husband would be working days now and I too worked days at a resort as a massage therapist… We decided take the job, we moved to the farm and signed her up for school. I had such mixed emotions… she was excited so I too wanted to be excited however after dropping her off and walking away I sobbed, I wasn’t expecting that reaction. Now she’s 23 and we look back at those days as some of the best times!
I am glad that you and Maya went to breakfast and had time to chill! Rest is important also!! It is like after a wedding the bride usually poops out and gets sick or very tired! So much planning and pulling together a big event! Then it is all done! You get through the event and then a stasis period to acclimate is necessary!
You are so wise to not drive yourself so hard that you can't find those moments of joy and pleasure in your life. Good luck to the boys in their school journey. It sounds like it's a small-ish school/district, which should make the transition easier. They can establish new friendships and establishing relationships is easier in a smaller setting. Blessings to you all.
🍀🍀🍀🍀 welcome to your new home, happy you are finally able to begin settling in. I so feel you when life gets so busy and crazy - I go to a place of required stillness. It eases the crazies and allows me to regain focus.
Looks like Miah found the black wired gate he wanted😊👍🐖🐖Saw it when the pigs were running after him lol So happy for y’all and excited about seeing the start of this new chapter in your life. Love watching your videos!!!
I had to chuckle about Bear... Not that he ran with Khan..but that he came back wet from the pond. I am sure he is having HIS best life right now, too! I bet it's going to be a little strange for awhile not having the little ones around all day. Especially Ben..cuz he was your shadow in the garden:)
Thank you for being authentic. It is an encouragement. Never feel guilty about doing nothing! It is absolutely necessary on a REGULAR basis. Even God rested! You are amazing! Kathy Jensen
Blows my mind that kids have to start school before labour day. Love your new house! If the universe/God tells you to take it easy it’s time to take it easy. It’s a good thing.
Miss seeing your kiddos running around making forts and bridges and doing kid stuff. But I am so happy to hear that they are enjoying going to school. The property is coming along very well. And the animals are looking good and you are right they all look so happy.
Family first! Doing the little things add up. Go easy on yourself sweet Jess. You two have been going full throttle for a long time! Yes more quiet time with your sweet Lord always gets you centered on what’s really important! Sending love and prayers!
Oh, Yay, got to see the pigs and male goats today, thank you. Glad to hear all your kids are going to the nearby small, local school. What a big change. Thanks for catching us up, I so look forward to each and every post you make.
I’m glad you’ve taken a bit of downtime. Moving is so stressful, and your move has been an act of heroism for both of you! So glad to hear you’re plugged in with a local church. Sending your kids off to school after homeschooling for so long is stressful, too. Even in the best of situations. So, cut yourself some slack, girl. Looking forward to seeing you out your mark on your new digs. Bless you, until next time.
Jessica, I’d enjoy watching you sweep the floor!! You’re so gifted. So happy for you and your sweet man. Y’all are the best. You reflect Christ in such a beautiful way. Thank you. Keep up your vlogs !
I had to put a Fi Smart collar on my olde English bulldogge. All of a sudden Gunny likes to wander. 🤷🏻♀️ I set a boundary and it lets me know if he goes out of that range. It will also show me his exact path outside. I’m so glad I got it because it has helped us located him twice already.
Jess and Sweet Miah, take care of yourselves first. It’s ok to rest The property is just so beautiful. I love to see all the animals grazing all through the grass. It’s just a beautiful sight. Thanks for inspiring me with each video you upload. Prayers for you and your family. Take it easy. God bless you Bertha in TEXAS.
I have a do-nothing day every now and then. I have days I wake up with the hope of doing at least one particular thing, and then life changes things and it doesn't even get looked at. Be kind to yourself and let things settle a bit. Some nights at bedtime I realise I haven't done much yet I'm still so tired. But nobody died today, and I can try again tomorrow. Hugs, Jess.
I think it's the first time I'm commenting on your page. Take it as you are a day at a time! You're doing great. I really missed the boat on this type of lifestyle. Moving is very stressful. Dont be surprised how you are feeling this is normal. Your last place took years to establish - take your time so that you dont burn out and you will achieve more in time, Wishing you peace and tranquility in this tumulus time.
Holsteins Bloodred, German wine and KangaRhu are 3 varieties of Rhubarb that will do well in zone 8. I grow the Holsteins Bloodred here in zone 9-10 and it does fine. I used to like Rhubarb stalks raw when I was a kid, but now I like them in either jam or a pie. It is great that all of your kids will be going to school but it also means that your little garden buddy won't be in all of your garden videos. Life goes on.
I wish Bear dog would have had a go pro camera on him when he wandered off i bet he was having such a blast being a little rebel child swimming in the pond 💖
In your new house, yippee!!! We homeschooled our kids and then they were gone. We never knew silence could be so loud! On the other hand, having uninterrupted quiet time has been a blessing. Praying that this school year will be spiritually profitable for you and your family. My rhubarb is in a partially shaded area in a self watering pot. I am hoping to get it in the ground. The earwigs seem to like eating the leaves even though people cannot.
Taking a step back and stopping... is the best thing we can do for ourselves for sure. Love watching you plan this new space, and planning where perennials are going... it's SO EXCITING!!!! 🥳 The animals look great, and super content with alllllll that lovely grass. Such a beautiful property. ❤️
I needed to hear this message. (So much so, I've watched it twice). ... hitting walls...finding peace... I have been so overwhelmed with all the life things lately. We've been skipping church to work on our house. I really NEED Sunday morning service. It keeps me grounded, helps my focus, helps my ability to handle life with grace rather than bullheadedly banging through. It helps me to keep my strength through my faith. Some can do it without regular attendance to church or prayer meetings. I cannot. And I get so hyper-focused on getting things done that I forget to give it to Him. I forget to take time to let Him walk with me.. I always have this picture in my headed of me Running across a sandy beach. Running as fast and as hard as I can, getting nowhere. With the Big Guy standing in my peripheral vision, lovingly chuckling and shaking His head. Never speaking but I know he's thinking 'Really Janna? This again? ...Well... alright have it your way.. you know where to find me...'
Yup, just finished lunch and enjoying J&J time. Rhubarb leaves are poisonous, work well as mulch. The stems make a great syrup for icecream, french toast etc. Gabrielle is loving the space for sure the herder in him is just pleased.
Take a few days to breathe. You are probably physically and emotionally exhausted and joyous at the same time. It's a lot and it will get done. Enjoy the process.
Well..it’s official..u r home.and settled..your pottery coffee cups are out and being used!!❤️..your homestead is already soo beautiful..that view❤️..u should slow down for awhile and breathe..take it all end and relax.give yourself time to adjust..other than having to take care of animals..give yourself a break..trust me,it’ll all b there when u get ready to do it lol..I’m still unpacking and organizing from Jan..I’m sure ALLthe animals feel like they have woke up from a beautiful dream and landed in heaven!!..I wanna come back as a animals and live at ROOTS AND REFUGE…many blessings
There is a collar called Fi that you can set up parameters and if the dogs go outside of that you get an alarm, as well as GPS to track them. I love this collar!

It is wonderful to hear the update. Journeys of change are always full of ebbs and flows. May God continue to bless every accomplishment, from the little things to the big things.
Hey gurl, such a cute top. I know, not very homesteady, but you’re glowing with this land and your happy animals. Nice to see you happy and a bit off balance with the newness of it all. You got this.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Everything will take time to get adjusted. That includes you. You had a routine at other house and here you haven't been able to establish that yet. Don't sweat the small stuff. Your doing good. So glad the Younger Boys wanted to go to school. A small School is great for them and you all. Take time for yourself and you'll be fine. God Bless and Peace from WV
That's great that the kids are in school. I'm sure they will enjoy making new friends! Maybe someday their class can visit the farm to learn where their food comes from 👍
Here is a ladder of love to help you scale all those walls! Keep going! God is with you and so are we all! Sending love, prayers, strength, and hugs! ❤🌟🙏
Take your time. Don't stress. Everything will be ok. I would love to see your pantry when your done with it. I used to have a nice size walk-in pantry. I loved how organized it was. Now...I don't have a pantry. I really miss it.
Dont rush , take a week and get rest!! Focus on small projects this is such an emotional time for your entire family. So take some time and focus on rest and taking quality time with each other
Two things....my husband always says...'If we do it all today Ma...what will we do tomorrow?' And... sometimes life feels like the rug has been pulled out from under us and everything is up in the air. We get anxious and frustrated just waiting for all the pieces to land so we can put it all back together again. But they ALL WILL LAND...some before others...some much later than expected....but they all will land. They always do. ❤️😊
Jess, I am 58 next month, In my late 20;s I stopped getting frustrated, or mad, and unreasonable and decided no matter how small or simple for some reason I have to take 15 extra steps than other people. I just take the steps and my life got simpler and less stressful. My husband didn't believe me when we first got together that I have this little problem.... Now he believes it and watches me take the extra steps lol.
Mom always put the rhubarb up against the back of the house, (shade loving maybe??) and she had a broken pickle crock that she always put over the plant so it would stretch for the sun and grow long thin stalks. You could probably simulate that with a 5 gallon bucket or a chunk of really large pipe. Rhubarb makes the best pie and jam! I really love it!
When I have those days that seem to go sideways no matter what I do, I know I am not present in the moment. I stop and ground myself in the moment and in my body. Sounds like you are doing that in your way. Pretty normal to have that happen after the major push. Things may be in chaos now but they will get there in time. Take the time to settle and give yourself grace in the in between. Looks like the animals and the house is coming together really well.
BL has great teachers so dont worry. My brother is football and weight training coach in high school and my sister in law is first grade. Enjoy the time you have with Miah and putting down roots in our fair state! I had to train my dogs to come back with a whistle. Now if they take off I just whistle and out of the woods they come but mine were raised from puppies here.

Well said Kathleen. The only urgency in a move is beds to sleep in and a kitchen with enough equipment to cook and eat. The rest, just savor the setting up decisions and taking time to relax a look around to see it in your min's eye. Thank you for taking time to share and have a Blessed day.
You have a true treasure in your "Sweet Miah". He seems so patient with the whole process. May God richly bless you both and your sweet family.
No better 4pm activity than a Roots and Refuge video right after getting a toddler to sleep. ❤️
"Anddddd...they're better than me. Alpacas are totally the Hipsters of the barnyard." That made me laugh out loud.
I loved that one too!! Cracked me up!! 🤭😂😂😅😅
Sounds like a sticker idea 💡 or that saying on a shirt with a pic of Jess and the 🦙 in the background 😅😆
Like Jess and her famrily, the world is at you feet, if you choose to pick up what interests you. I bought art supplies and we bought a sweet tear drop camper to get out in the fresh air.
I hope Jess inspires you to live a life that follows your passions. We are hard working farmers and ALL of us are over 70! Jess's journey is a tribute to the younger generation and what can be accomplished. ~ Diane
Same to you Linda G. I'm 64 and she got me too! Isn't it wonderful!? Love and hugs to you!! And many happy plants!! 🙏🙏🤗🤗💜💜🦋🦋
@@dianehall5345 Wonderful Diane Hall!! I'm sorry about your business, but so happy for your heart and soul!!
I am! 56 and disabled but she Inspired me to try. Last year containers now this year raised beds and success. Next year even more!
My mama heart goes out to you with all the kids in school. My daughter starts kindergarten in just another week, and I’m trying to prepare for it. 😭
I’m with you…sometimes doing nothing is the best thing you can do!
I second that!!
Do you use a dog whistle or a regular one
@@RootsandRefugeFarm we use a regular one 💙💚💜✌
I’ve always believed dogs are happier “working” when they know they can rely on specific “safety” commands/signals from those they feel they ultimately protect.
Good Afternoon Gardeners 🌿☺️
Jess your home is beautiful!
Hey KeeKee :)

LOVE ALL THE ANIMALS!
Life can be funny and stressful.. when you feel you need to stop and reset do it. We will always be here
Lots of space there to just hang out and breathe. Watching slow progress in building a new homestead is Priceless. I am interested in all of it. The good, the bad and the ugly. Its real life. Take us along with the planting, the painting and the planning.
I love the realness. Thanks for turning the camera on when things aren't always perfect or exciting.
Omg! It's so weird to see you in a new kitchen backdrop! 🥰🤗
Looks like Miah found the black wired gate he wanted😊👍🐖🐖Saw it when the pigs were running after him lol
So happy for y’all and excited about seeing the start of this new chapter in your life.
You have so much time to do all these things, don't forget that!
It's the journey, not the destination!!!!!
Thank you for being authentic. It is an encouragement. Never feel guilty about doing nothing! It is absolutely necessary on a REGULAR basis. Even God rested! You are amazing! Kathy Jensen
Blows my mind that kids have to start school before labour day.
Love your new house!

Miss seeing your kiddos running around making forts and bridges and doing kid stuff. But I am so happy to hear that they are enjoying going to school. The property is coming along very well. And the animals are looking good and you are right they all look so happy.

Amazing how you moved your entire farm! All things are possible with FAITH (friends n hard work)
I’m glad you’ve taken a bit of downtime.

That's totally right. Enjoying the moment is the best policy.
Bear only tagged along to provide Khan the supervision he requires 😂
I have a do-nothing day every now and then. I have days I wake up with the hope of doing at least one particular thing, and then life changes things and it doesn't even get looked at. Be kind to yourself and let things settle a bit. Some nights at bedtime I realise I haven't done much yet I'm still so tired. But nobody died today, and I can try again tomorrow. Hugs, Jess.

Your hair looks so cool. You should make an entire vlog about your hair
Always remember to just take time for yourself. We love you guys, That's why we are here.
You deserve some down time. Take a break and breathe it all in and appreciate all that you have accomplished. So happy for you all!
Yup, just finished lunch and enjoying J&J time.
Rhubarb leaves are poisonous, work well as mulch. The stems make a great syrup for icecream, french toast etc.
Gabrielle is loving the space for sure the herder in him is just pleased.
Tell Miah thank-you for being patient with this video. He’s tired. But it was good to see you both.
Take a few days to breathe. You are probably physically and emotionally exhausted and joyous at the same time. It's a lot and it will get done. Enjoy the process.

I’m excited for the boys making friends in school while you’re able to ‘work’ during the school day.

You got this.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
My kids started out in public then homeschool. My oldest daughter did public school until first grade. Home school for 2nd. Then we moved and she went back to public school until 6th grade. Now she homeschools with the rest. Do what's right for you and your family.
Maybe someday their class can visit the farm to learn where their food comes from 👍
School is big for the children, give them time to love you more and make there story's to share at night time. 👍
My great grandmother's asparagus was still going back in the 90's when I lived on her place. Get the right spot so you'll never want to move it.
And all the chickens said 🎶nothin could be finer than to be in Carolina in the mornin🎶
Looks like the animals and the house is coming together really well.
sometimes you have to stop and just BE. quiet reflection and appreciation is key.
You know what... this is great...and if you feel it doesn't work you can change ..and that is your choice.
Thank you for sharing your day 😊
JESS stop!!! You don't need to explain anything you and Sweet Maya do for your family ❤, you have the right to do what you want with your session, it's yours sweetie 😘, I enjoy your videos with your family and all of the animals, but I have to say I especially love Gabriel ❤, a angel of God, enjoy your time with your family, and stop apologizing and just breathe in God's blessings to you and your family 😊
