  • On todays video the Civic has some issues with leaky tail lights. I bought these at a junkyard and they’re some aftermarket Is Replica’s that I didn’t want to buy brand new so I thought id fix them. Using a less than $10 tube of RTV Sealant instead of buying a whole new set for $200!!! I’ll out the link to these tail lights incases y’all want to cop a pair.

@krlda6 Thanks Man! 👍 i actually dont, i wanted to do the same thing but ebay was charging a grip for the rubber seal. I posted a video on fixing a leak from there in another video about leaking tail lights if you wanna check it out. Its basically just weather strip glue but its kinda permanent stuff soo just keep that in mind. Im sure if i have to remove MY rear seal im gunna have to rip it up! Lol 😂 thats a problem for future Jay though😅

@@projectgoodspeed 😂 get that man also watched the other video very helpful as I feel that’s what my 94 has 😂 so I will definitely do that. Also do you know how to remove the black plastic cover from the lower trunk section? Apologies, for all the questions. but trying to find an information. This is a pain in the butt. 😂 much less people who make informative videos that don’t cause motion sickness.

@krlda6 yeahh no worries man! Ive removed pretty much everything from the little hatchback👍😂 if you mean the rear black trim piece that goes in between the quarter panels (and not the tailgate trim piece)
that piece has about 5 or 6 metal clips attached to the panel. The clips have teeth that bite onto little plastic nubs on the panel and then they are inserted into slots on the chasis. Like 2-3 of them clip down on the tailgate area and 2-3 of them clip up against the rear chasis wall. If you just grab the panel from the bottom and pull towards the front of the car, you should then be able to pull the entire panel upwards and out. Be Careful not to break the little nubs the clips attach to thooo 😅
im down to my last 2 cause i pulled a little too hard and now the clips have nothing to attach too👍🤣
