@@seahawk8601 No worries Rob :) I actually have German ancestry 3 generations back, although only through marriage and not by blood.
We have to wait until mid July for delivery in the UK but very excited none the less!

Absolutely blown away. The hardcover rulebooks are gorgeous, and everything else looks to be just top notch. I’m not sure if I’ll need any more dungeon crawlers after this…(until the next expansion anyway)
Fingers crossed it’ll be here soon. Supposedly the Australian copies are already in country so hopefully not too much longer.

It feels like we’re in a golden age for gaming - especially dungeon crawlers and boss battlers. The component quality has skyrocketed- LoD, DUN, Oathsworn, etc. great time to be a board gamer!

Thanks Rob, so looking forward to unpausing my LoD play and recommencing with the updated rules/cards. Your love for the work put into this amazing game mirrors my own. So most of all, thank you so much Michael for bringing back to us (in an indulgent big box experience) these aspects of old school fantasy gaming. Aspects such as detail, crunch, book keeping, true challenges and peril, flexibility and modularity, and an emphasis on creating stories which, in my mind, are being increasingly put aside in modern gaming. Put aside in favour of (over)production value, streamlining and accessibility that encourages a production line of gameplay consumption with the ethos that “less effort and play time equals more games to be played” feeding the ever growing hunger for “What’s next, what’s new, what is the hotness, more, more”. This has enabled a true return for me to lifestyle gaming.

I'm waiting for this fantastic expansion and the upgrade pack also. Finally I decided to buy the expansion in Spanish and I regret little bit as I have the core (1st edition) in English... well, now it's done, probably using color sleeves to not see the card cover will solve the issue. I check his website shop every day waiting for second print to appear. Hoping he offers various versions of it. An all in must be awesome to see.
You can probably chill on that. The webshop will only get stock after they've dispatched all the Gamefound orders, so wait until after people in your region start getting their copies and then go back to checking the shop everyday!
The one newsletter said August sometime but nothing beyond that. I just check to see if it updates to include the expansion or reprints of the out of stock items. A new pdf of the rulebook costs nothing to ship and would be nice to print out a working copy for when the full reprint appears.

Just a question about your top 3 dungeon crawlers: What is in Warhammer Quest 95 that you do not find in League of Dungeoneers? I mean, if LoD did everything WHQ does, WHQ would not be in there. So what's missing? Is it the random quest room determination, is it the feel of the 'Old World'...?
