He really was genius. This wasn't some fluke character that just happened to be popular because it struck a cord with 90s kids. This was raw talent, talent that saved Family Matters from being a forgotten failed sitcom from back in the day, and he turned it into a classic. He also gave fuel to the other characters who were under utilized, all of whom reacted extremely well with him on screen.

+alex kanyima actually Steve was in the first season, he just didn't have many episodes because he wasn't a main character. If we didn't see him the show would've been like bill cosby meets full house. And it would've been boring.

Rewatching the series on Hulu (they have all the seasons). Steve Urkel will always be funny and cute, but this scene really squashes my grapes. He has enough problems being the school weirdo and the butt of everyone's jokes, and these two awful characters liquor him up and make him the freaking laughingstock of the party. My heart always broke for him here.

I wouldn't say Waldo was a bad person. He thought Willie Fuffner was his friend but would often be ridiculed by him as well due to his lack of intelligence. But after seeing Willie almost killing Urkel do to his hatred of him, he left Willie alone and became friends with both Steve and Eddie.

RT Carl cares for Steve, Steve just pushes his button. Harriet accepted Steve, Estelle loved him so did Richie and Rachel. Eddie liked Steve but hides it because a popular guy like Eddie being friends with an unpopular nerd like Steve people would make fun of him especially Rodney. Laura liked Steve too but he just wasn’t her taste that time. She did appreciate him as a friend Laura would be friends with anybody. When Steve became more mature that’s when the loved him but that time she just appreciated him as a friend. Maxine liked Steve because of their similar situations with neglect parents(even though she barely spoke to him). Waldo liked Steve too so did, Loony Bin,Captain Savage, Lt Murtaugh, Vonda Mahoney loves Steve in the episode The Love God, Myra loved Steve, the girl in the episode Requiem For An Urkel when she helped Urkel from falling over cared for him she also appeared in Fight The Good Fight, everyone in Life Of The Party liked him, Greg from The Science Project and Requiem For An Urkel liked Steve too, Everyone in My Uncle The Hero liked Steve also in Requiem For An Urkel, also Casey liked Steve. The only people on Family Matters that didn’t like Steve were Rodney( even though he did show concern for him) Penny Paiser(even though she did show concern for him) Willie Fufner,The Dragons, Everyone in the episode Betcha Chi Guy, The Bullies and Dexter Thornhill.

Willie spiked his drink all because he proved Laura's point: you don't have to drink to have a good time, and he was the only guy at the party with enough guts to break the ice. And the one time Steve gets genuine admiration by his peers for being himself, Willie ruins it and makes him the butt of the joke again. Sad. Truly sad. Just shows how insecure Willie is

What mistakes did he make to cause the woman to want to spike his drink?

    • @johnrainsman6650

@@randysvids4774 involved his lack of filter and personality. She hated him and wanted to rid herself and people from him. Thought they’d all be better off. She was arrested
The fact that someone hated him enough to kiII him shocked me, as much as what could’ve happened to him. It helped me see where I went wrong at work when I took him to the office for casually touching crew members on arms and shoulders. He was always very outgoing at work. I told him that he shouldn't touch anyone without consent. Just handshakes. I said we needed the workers to be comfortable in a good work environment, that he pretty much shouldn't talk about anything other than work and school. How he shouldn't tell his stories because they may be inappropriate or upsetting (forget my words) to the other workers; funny to him but not others. I think he’s about 25. He seemed pretty quiet and silently awkward and uncomfortable during my speech. Answered a question or two with a nod and headshake.
After what happened though, I realized I may have gone a little too far too. Yeah, I was right about how he should be more filtered at work, and that the touching needed to be restricted, but I shouldn’t have taken him to the office. I shouldn’t have spoken to him the way I did. I shouldn’t have said to his boss, “is there anything you want to add?” That was insensitive. He never meant any discomfort or harm. He only meant to have fun with people. I should’ve been more patient and understanding and only given him a very brief and gentle talk in the hall, not a lecture in the office with his boss present. He didn't deserve that, and she didn’t have to be there. He probably felt like a criminal. Besides, it's perfectly natural to causally touch or tap people *without* it being creepy; maybe he deserved a right like that, within reason and limits. All or nothing isn’t fair; compromise is fine. He is not a creep; he's a friendly fellow. He left the job because he felt disliked and ashamed and thought it would benefit his coworkers. Turns out the woman and I have both shamed him. He works at a bakery now

@@randysvids4774Now, I hope you're not gonna say anything about how he was wrong or creepy, or that what happened to him has nothing to do with the work thing, so my epiphany is weird. I've heard it all before. He still has haters when I share this story on other videos The guy never *meant* to hurt or discomfort anyone. Everything he did was supposed to be innocent and casual. And I should've perpetuated that when speaking to him. His mistakes had to be addressed, but not formally and disrespectfully. I should've been better.
