You know, it just felt so right to play the Castlevania level for the first time with Antonio Belpaese. Not just for his similarities to the Belmonts either. What started as a slew of references have now come full-circle, and how better to pay my respects than using the character you begin with when you fire up the game for the very first time?
Honestly whatever kind soul at Konami is attempting to redeem them currently needs go get on a port of HoD. Do you have any godly idea how much money they would make if they brought that game back? With new levels, new characters, and more content? It would friggin' RAIN cash.
I absolutely love that you can still hear the Vampire Survivors coming through in this version. It’s a perfect blend and it has me absolutely hyped to hear what’s still coming.
This DLC is what got me to finally buy this game, and now I get why it's so popular. Plus all of Castlevania's music is so good that any excuse to hear new mixes is a plus, for me!
This is one of the best rendition ever made of Vampire Killer! You can tell these guys are even more hyped than us to be collaborating with Konami. I mean just listen to the intro, that's no Stage BGM is a VICTORY theme, it blast off with such a sense of Triumph it's contagious. My only complaint is that guitar solo at 1:08 needed a reprise, its the most epic shit ever related to Castlevania I've heard in a while and it cuts too short!!

Elizabeth Bartley and Olrox are shown in the part where there are the diamonds with the characters in them prior to the Everyone is Here Coffin part (they're at the far left side of the diamonds (the top hat guy is Olrox (based on his Moonlight Rhapsody design), while the purple dress character above him is Bartley). Both of them are vampires in Castlevania so we're likely finally getting vampires with this update.
I know that the music for the DLC is almost certainly completely finished but I'm personally hoping for a remix of the track Original Sin. It's such an underrated song because it comes from one of the early Game Boy games but it really goes hard.
