He should focus on drop volleys, it's very fatal if he can master those, Alcarz's volleys are 80% drop volleys.

Daniil has to figure out a way to improve his serve. No matter how bad Sinner or Alcaraz off the baseline, you can’t win against them with only 53% first serve in. He can get away and beat lower ranked opponents with the baseline advantage he’s got, but those who can go toe-to-toe with him in rallies will be outplaying him unless he’s serving with at least 70% first serve in to keep up with the very best players, like Alcaraz and Sinner are. According to the ATP leaderboard for the serve leaders, he only stands as the 48th, which is horrendous given his height. That’s a big shock he’s still on top ranking-wise, but he should be looking to get the serve better to stay competitive with the young guns. Hope he will find a solution to his serve and will be back at his 2021’s level.

Well played by Sinner - nothing special, just a typical good level, let's put it that way. A very nice dropshot and a few long lines, right?
I feel sorry for Meddy, as he seems to have problems with his shoulder - because of what Sinner said at the net, and what is also written here in the comments. He didn't have as much energy, wasn't aggressive and the forehands didn't come like they usually do - I think he needs to step it up a notch anyway.
But if Sinner plays like that against Alcaraz, it could be close AGAIN.
