Look at you.. Learned lots of Zuk stuff from you and now airguns. Mr. and Mrs. Multitalented.. The Louis and Clark expedition carried an Girardoni Airgun with them, little known fact! Thanks for your content always enjoy it, thumbs up!

I appreciate you watching and commenting!

The Ammo is made so that the pedals around the hollowpoint break off at 750 fps and above and make 4 wound channels, 5 actually counting the core of the slug, I do not think that was the slug shot into the jug at 50 but maybe so, I hope your able to find the one at 75 with the metal detector. Make sure your barrel is lead free before shooting the lehigh’s for the best accuracy. I shot 3 bucks this past deer season with that Ammo and the wounds were devastating when we skun out the deer I was very surprised at the carnage left behind! Good luck on your bear hunt and thanks for the shout out!

Its hard to say what velocity they are at at 50 and 75 yards, my shitty chrono at the time showed 912 at the muzzel of the carbine. I have since gotten a better chrony so i will continue testing. At the time of testing that gun had only shot a handfull of lead, i cleaned it real good.
I will be testing further before november for sure and report back.
Ive only been out 1 time for bear, this coming week is go time...stay tuned!

Just purchased a Airforce Texan Carbine CF in .457. Probably going to install a DonnyFL Emperor V3 moderator as the air gun may be a tad loud for shooting on 2.5 acre lots. Don't want to scare the nieghbors.
    Good video, Thanks.

Oh yeah, the texan is loud for sure, we cant use moderators here in canada, so it is what it is!

Not enough videos on the 50 cal carbine testing shooting power at farther ranges. I hope to see some soon. Nice video 😎👍

You can get a 4500 psi bottle and valve/regulator for that bad mamajama. You could easily get another 200 ftlbs of energy output.

I shoot my airforce texan 308 at Max power. Always
Also I changed the spring to an African Air Ordnance extra heavy hammer and hammer spring. Makes the gun way more powerful and consistent. Also got the high flow valve that also let's less out over time but more power per shot.
    Recommend you check them out.
    Great content bro, cheers 🤙

Its hard to say how much more i could get from the carbine with the shorter barrel. It already has the carbon fiber bottle with their high flow valve, pushing a 370gr slug at 860fps and over 500fpe i thought is pretty good. Best i saw with these 240gr copper slugs was like 912fps.
It definitely likes the big 370gr slugs better "fpe wise"
I have alot more testing to do and have some 450gr slugs on the way, cant wait to see how it does.
I went out bear hunting the other night and got close to 1 bear, stay tuned for the up coming video!

These rounds might had been designed for firearms with a lot more power in order to expand.

These are specifically made for air guns.

@@FabbinAdventures specifically designed for Airguns might be a sales pitch. The proof is in the pudding. Your test showed no expansion. At that kind of FPofE there should be expansion. Thank you for the test for I would never buy those.

These slugs are horrible. If they do not expand in water or soil they won't expand anywhere.
