Just watched the Christmas show show in Tamworth NSW Australia. Your guest, Keith Pollard, was my school boy coach whilst he played for Maitland. Very entertaining and I didn’t know “wrestling” was the oldest sport in the world!! I thought Keith’s “Vince Lombardi” analogy was very relevant. Great show lads even if some of the nuances about English RL were lost on me. Keith should be knighted and go out and buy his trilogy of books…a terrific read! Merry Christmas from Oz🎄🎅. Cheers Craig
Thanks for the comments Craig, glad you enjoyed the show,we appreciate your support, have you seen our other 2 show’s with Keith? You’re right Keith is a character and a great sport. The saints lads loved him. Merry Christmas 🎅🏽 from the Dockhouse boys
@@thedockhouserugbyshow1271 Keith coached us from 12s to 14s winning a premiership along the way. I was skipper of those teams. Keith taught us to pass the ball into the gap and run at the gap not the player. He carried that philosophy to Maitland first grade with stunning effect. He also taught me to play the ball English style with my heal. I was penalised most of the time as Australian schoolboy referees had never seen it and assumed it was illegal🤣🤣🤣. KP was an excellent role model although he didn’t pass on his senior rugby league mantra to us…”they can’t run without a head!!” Cheers, Craig
Has anyone taken the quiz I placed in the show description? If not the quiz for you all to play along with is this, each question is numbered using a rugby Jersey, but can you make all the teams jerseys we have used?
We tackle the big questions in our RL episodes 😁. I make sure they knew I wasn't happy with thier proposed answer 😡 How long does it take to soft boil an egg Episode and debate here - ruclips.net/video/pDt0Yd4xS5o/видео.html
