The really sad thing about Morro Bay is those boats anchored in the Bay are just sitting there, unused, rotting away gathering algae and seagull shit. It used to be such a pretty little town though, too bad there are three giant un-used smoke stakes giving "the finger" and people who have moved in and remodeled their houses with no concern for the old California bungalow ambiance. Go up Piney to Olive and see "Castle Absurd" along with some of the other monstrosities that look like they were built as props at Disneyland and other houses built to obscure other peoples view just so some dufus can have a view of the bay from his balcony. Too bad, the City leaders and planners could have done a lot better.

It's like they run a racket motels are expensive on weekends and during the hot weather in the valley motels are twice as much I think Fresno and Bakersfield should boycott Morro Bay for a month and see what happens

There are 2 large campsites along the beach in Morro Bay. The views, seafood, and cool weather just keep hooking us back for more regardless of the budget
